Minute Man

It is still open. One of my friends ate there the other day and posted about it. I believe it is the last one in the state. The one they had in Fayetteville closed along with all the others except for the one in El Dorado. So with Minute Man as your barometer Eldo gets the nod.

Also don't forget the Oil & Brine Museum.

But yes in all seriousness where you want (or can) live and work is largely a matter of personal preference and in some cases concerns adaptability. Lots of places big and small in this state which is still largely rural have something to offer. I've lived in Fayetteville, Little Rock, and "the country" and enjoyed living in each place and found plenty I liked to do in each location. I do think Fayetteville/ NWA would be more enjoyable now than back in the day because then it was largely just a college town with not much around it and of course that's no longer the case.
