This is a very aggy like thread.

What's your OL look like this year? I feel like Bert's success arbiter wisconsin was 90% a massive, strong OL.

Having players like Russell Wilson and Melvin Gordon didn't hurt.

Speaking of Russell Wilson, I thought AA was supposed to be a better scrambler than Brandon. I realize he's not a 4.5 guy or anything but I wonder if part of all those sacks was him being told to keep his arse in the pocket. If they let him scramble more this year and he's capable it could get exciting with how scrappy he is.

Austin is a better runner. The coaches have said time and again, even before last season, though that he's not a guy to bail out of the pocket like Brandon and run. He stays until the end and sometimes it's a detriment.

Enos has said more than once that they are trying to get him to scramble instead of sit. I imagine he'll get there eventually but that is not an easy habit to break.

Still lot's of questions.

Changing to the 3-4 on defense will take some time to adjust.

This year is going to F-ing suck.

I don't give two shits about football anymore. It's sad.

I'm reaching post La Monroe levels the John L year. Never even came near this apathetic with Nutt.

7-5 is my prediction. If the o line doesn't improve, it could get ugly.

I haven't cared about football since the Petrino wreck. The hiring of Bert was the final nail in the coffin. I said at the time he was a terrible fit for Arkansas and he's done nothing to disapprove that.

Another year of experience for AA, an improved offensive line, more overall team speed, and an attacking defensive scheme.

Screw it, 9-3.

Maybe. But we had the worst offensive line and defense that I can remember watching in my fandom and we were still two second half collapses away from 9 wins.

Ragnow is a stud

Hjalte has potential to be a stud.. If he cleans up his mental errors good things will happen. I watched him do some amazing things, but I also saw him let guys run right thru a hole several times.

Johnny Gibson impressed me last year. Surprised he didn't play sooner.

Brian Wallace needs to be more consistent. I still believe he can become solid.

Colton Jackson was up and down just like Wallace.

Bielema mentioned that one of our Freshman OL could get significant PT this year. Not sure how I feel about that.

In regards to Raulerson I just don't know what to believe. Bielema said he played all of last year injured. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, but he got worked over for sure.

Our entire season will be predicated off the OL's performance.

Yea people can talk about the defense with the new scheme, but when our OL is getting push good things always happen.

Last year we couldn't run block worth a shite and it cost us over and over again.

The one position I'm most excited about is our Secondary. We are stacked with talent. I cannot tell you the last time I said that.

Now whether or not the freshman come in and perform well is hard to say. But we definitely put in an effort to get some studs there.

We were also a kitten's whisker from 5 wins. La Tech we needed a touchdown on 4th and goal and TCU was almost a huge meltdown if not for Skipper blocking that field goal.

Ole Miss, in all their 5-7 glory, also took us to the wire. It was a neurotic year, and it was mostly bad.
