His dad posts on the Rivals board and brings good info...JR is up to 320. Played most of the year with a bad ankle from TCU game

How the frick hasn't this thread been made yet?

Because deep down everybody knows we're headed for another 6-6 season with Bert... There's no buzz and no excitement for this year. He should've been fired after the bowl game...

They haven't had a legit scrimmage yet. First two days were shorts and helmet. Today was first full pads while they are shuffling guys around in the 3-4 and not a ton of news other than Bret's weekly presser.

If you enjoy watching fundamental drills that is what the media has recorded last three practices. Other than that wholehog has assistant coach interview clips from Thursday.

Marshall was not going to crack the two deep at NT this year so I don't really see the issue during the spring.

See Marshall was a guy who is like TJ Smith. Got brought in as a "DE" but immediately ballooned up to the 300 range.

Sounds like early enrollment is paying off for some kids again. I wish we would focus heavily on that in our uncommon approach

I think this was the most ever bert has had in his career. I'd say it's a focus.

Raulerson said he started his college career at Texas at about 240 pounds

We have had several running backs bigger than him when he started. No wonder Texas sucks so bad recently.

Oh Lord here come the references. I give this one a week before everyone has it worn out. Hopefully we aren't all mocking at end of year. Glad to see us focus on finishing though.

One thing I like about Bielema is he seems to want to be better and improve. Just hadn't had everything line up yet.

You're right. Sone of the criticism directed towards him is warranted, but he's also had some bad luck. 2015 should've been a very good year, but tjose injuries were unbelievable.

You gotta figure the ball will bounce our way someday...right? Surely....

2015 is definitely a tough one. If we don't have all those injuries, that is most likely a 10+ win team. The what ifs that year are soul crushing.

I'd say if you look long term it's more than likely to happen eventually

I know this is terrible to say but would it be too much to wish that some of the big boys like bama and lsu have to play through some injuries when we come to town. Nothing serious just say hurts tweaks his shoulder and is out 2 weeks and we get to tale advantage.

The problem with that is we still have Fat arse on our sideline so we're fricked no matter what.

He could blow his shoulder out completely and still crush us with his legs. If you're hoping for minor injuries at least hope for ones that help us. Like a knee sprain or strain where he sits out the last half and is good to go by Sunday morning.
