I think it's been a given that we get him for awhile. They still need to close strong as he's visiting Ole Miss and Colorado and it appears that Colorado is back to their old ways of the early 90's.

Sounds like we'll be trading Anderson for Jordan Wright which is a huge upgrade, putting it lightly

Yeah I can definitely get on board with that trade.

What are our chances with him? Very slim? On his 247 page Arkansas wasn't much of a factor and he had some really good offers.

Good enough for an official visit this weekend, beyond that, no one knows.

That's nice, but we've gotten some OVs from some good prospects in the past and it didn't mean much. This reeks a little of the ole Bert mantra of signing a small, somewhat underwhelming class while "just missing" on some bigger names.

That pipeline to Ft. Lauderdale Dillard should have already been flowing to the hills.

There's about 6 schools down there that have college coaches camped out year round and Dillard is one of them.

We've got a good chance. His name has just recently popped up on out radar so his page probably doesn't reflect his interest yet

actually read this sentence and look at how silly it sounds when you say it out loud

Sticks with Michigan.

Was probably never really thinking of leaving.

Seemed like he just wanted the added appeal of him signing.

There was talk of Michigan dropping him at one point and that's when he started looking at other schools. Something must have happened on Michigan's end because they recently started showing increased attention again.

Just to illustrate how terrible the recruiting sites are, per RD, we were the 3rd school to offer this DE from Florida that's on his OV this weekend.

We offered in Nov. 2015 and have been recruiting him really hard ever since according to the player.

247 shows we just offered a couple weeks ago.

this idea of us offering late and being behind the 8ball on top recruits is probably bullshite and I'm guilty of buying into it. However, Bert's still lazy in my opinion and far from a great coach. Look at what Macintyre's done at Colorado. I loved his SJSU teams and thought that was a bad job for Mac to take because of how fractured that program had became and how bad the talent on that team was but he's got them playing well and has brought in some thugs that can play and coached em all up.

How Otis still has a job at 247 is beyond me. We have by far the worst site in the West on there and it's not even close.
