Why does everyone think Patton is going elsewhere
Posted on 11/26/16 at 11:49 am to Hawgnsincebirth55
The recruiting guys are saying that he isn't going to make the math requirement for the SEC and wants to enroll at semester.

Shouldn't beilama have known this if he only recruits uncommon men? I mean shite what exactly makes a man uncommon? We let byers go to Bama without even an offer for some reason then we go after this guy and he can't even make the grades. frick beilama

I get you're melting but this is something that JUCO kids and SEC teams continually deal with. It's not a Bielema thing. It's a stupid rule that hamstrings SEC schools versus everyone else.

Yeah yeah I know. I'm still pissed we've let byers go so easily

Byers will go join Frazier on the scout squad
Posted on 11/26/16 at 1:22 pm to TheCheshireHog
So we didn't know he was going to be short? Or he moved up his time frame?

Frazier is in on their rotation. Especially against team's that run a pro style offense

Its interesting how it only seems to hamstring schools like us the Mississippi schools, SCAR, and Mizzou.
We've lost several recruits over the years to OU and other P5 schools due to transfer requirements or academic qualifying requirements out of HS (required classes and such) that isn't a requirement for the Big12 who is the number one recruiting rival conference wise for the majority of the schools the rule will affect.
Its just another way of making the road harder for the non-big 6 schools, it doesn't effect these schools near as much but does help keep the status quo in order.

Nothing will happen until after the bowl. They have to be out recruiting now because OV weekend Dec 3.
Posted on 11/27/16 at 6:56 pm to UnderCoverHog
Because it is a requirement of their job and no changes will be made until after the bowl anyhow.
Likely your going to see a few move on the greener pastures and we just couldn't do enough to to retain them, shucks, JMO

Ryder Anderson finally found another home. Don't think he was actually a part of our class any longer according to coaches.

Anyone know the status of Chase Hayden and his level of commitment?
Posted on 11/28/16 at 1:13 pm to Snizzzo
I would say good. He tweeted out a picture last night of him and Reggie Mitchell.

Good deal. His senior season highlights came out recently, and wow...pretty exciting.

thank f'n god. The kid barely has 15 tackles on the season and maybe 2 sacks.
Was obvious he wasn't SEC material and his buddy that is far better isn't giving the Hogs the time of day.
