Not really a surprise with Heupel there now and their painful lack of RB depth.

This isn't worthy of its own thread and not sure where best to put this info... but don't expect Anton Beard to be contributing much at all to Arkansas basketball again.
He likes that snort-snort and is going to be riding pine this coming season if he gets through summer without getting into trouble.

Not bad. It's good roster management spreading the WR schollies among the Fr/Jr. classes to mitigate heavy losses in a single season.
He also can get to work on his teammates we want too.
The negative is he wasn't cut out for WR at Southern Miss and transferred when he was moved to DB. If his hands are suspect he may never do anything but play special teams.
If he's a well liked charismatic kid then it pays dividends down the road for recruiting in Mississippi and that JUCO in particular.

This doesn't need it's own thread, and doesn't necessarily involve us (but could it?) - Jarvis Cooper is transferring to somewhere from Memphis.

I bet we'd take him seeing how well he's played at TB.
Big miss by this staff.

I seriously doubt they would take him and I wouldn't even remotely call him a miss personally.
He's transferring because he wants to be the starter. Not because he necessarily wants to play at a bigger school. He is currently the backup RB at Memphis after getting beat out by someone in his own class and now he is looking for more carries. That isn't going to happen for him here.

I can understand that. If he wants to be the feature guy then dropping down a division is what he should do.
There's no shortage of D2 schools that would take him in a moment.

The location might not be ideal but I would want to take a look at North Dakota St if I was suited for a pro style offense like Cooper.

Off Topic: One of my buddy's from back in the day's kid is going to be playing at UALR
He just did a year at a prep school. 6'9 SG/SF rail thin. His pops never carried much weight. I got on his arse years ago about bulking up. He plays a bit like Durant albeit much less skilled and less athletic, has a nice shot from the outside with good handles for a kid his size, can be pesky on defense and surprisingly effective w/ his back to the basket. Kid loves to run and play w/ the ball in his hand.
Glad he's playing in the best college basketball program in the state.

You recruit your own problems, but hey we're already under a title IX investigation so bring 'em on.
I would take KD Cannon and that other Texarkana kid they have in a heartbeat.
