Where in the hell did that performance come from holy shite

If this is a sign that Taco has found his groove again, we may go from zero shot to low shot at salvaging the season. Have to win this series, an absolute must.

Jackson throws complete game, Hogs top UK again

Zach Jackson threw a complete game and Arkansas beat Kentucky 2-0 Saturday in a 7-inning game at Cliff Hagan Stadium.

The Razorbacks (24-15, 6-11 SEC) won the three-game series. The teams are scheduled to play again Saturday afternoon.

Jackson allowed two hits and struck out eight batters to give Arkansas its second complete game start in as many games. Dominic Taccolini pitched 10 innings in the Razorbacks' 1-0 win Friday.

Jackson worked out of a bases loaded jam in the bottom of the seventh. Tristan Pompey flied out to center field to end the game.

Arkansas scored its only runs in the top of the fourth inning. Luke Bonfield's RBI double with no outs scored Carson Shaddy. Bonfield scored on an RBI groundout by Chad Spanberger.

Dustin Beggs pitched a complete game for Kentucky (23-15, 9-8), but lost his first game of the year. Beggs (7-1) allowed five hits, walked one and struck out one.
The Razorbacks won a series for the first time since sweeping Auburn in March. Arkansas had lost eight straight conference games prior to this weekend's series.

One strike away from winning 5 in a row. I'll take it.

Are we getting the game in today? Looks like 40% around first pitch and it only goes up from there.

That was another good win. Taco has looked more like early season Taco the last two weekends.
