Green or Sanders Jr would be two very legit 2nd running backs for this class

We're a power run team that signed one running back last year, and, this year, we signed one really good one(Whaley) and another one who's really more of a slot receiver than true running back(however, the professionals think he can play it, so I'll guess we'll see how Hammonds turns out).
And this is my biggest concern. Even the sunniest of scenarios involves us assuming that the running game will pick up right where it left off in the 2nd half of the season.
I will remain confident we can do that but it's not a certainty with Whaley a tf and Williams coming back from injury.

It doesn't really make sense.
perhaps have patience and see how the class finishes before trying to have it make sense

Definite shift away from Florida in this class.

I like it.
Get recruits out of Texas and Louisiana, grab some from Memphis and the cornfields and lockdown Arkansas. Could actually work really well if they put together a whole seasin.

Memphis doesn't have any and haven't for a few years.

So I decided to do some more digging. and here is the position break down of all our recruits.
Offense
1 QB
1 running back
3 receivers (2WR 1TE)
3 OL (1 tackle 2 guards)
1 athlete( maybe a WR or RB depending on hopefully what he's best at and not on our recruiting failures)
Defense
5 DL (3 ends 2 tackles)
4 LB (2 inside 2 out)
2 DB ( 2 safeties 0 CBs)

You think Kofi will play RB?

i thought they had hammonds listed as WR when I wrote that but then I saw he was an athlete and put the note by his position.

Hammonds is going to be given every shot at being a running back, from what I'm reading.

Bert said in his press conference he'll start at running back / slot receiver
Which was the plan when recruiting. Making him that 1/2 of a running back Bert talked about.

So apparently LSU is already trying to move Devin White to LB because they are so thin there. He is not happy.

where are you seeing this?

Heard it on drive time today in the car… it's just what they were saying.

Totally unforeseeable with their lack of depth at RB.
