...btw, just giving you hell brother.

I'm sure we were all a bit disappointed by the home stretch. It is what it is and I'm glad we aren't cheating if that's what it takes. The win at all cost/C.R.E.A.M. mindset is a big problem in this world right now and I would like to think we are doing these young men a service.

I haven't read all of the above, and I will probably rehash a bunch of what has been said, however a few thoughts.
1. Best average rating for us in many years, Better than any Petrino, or Nutt class and trending up from since CBB has been here.
2. 5 Walkons who are paying their own way because they want to be Razorbacks, and after looking at them last night, a few of them will crack the roster with effort. Man, they look good.
3. A few Players already graduated eligible for one more shot at glory in the SEC. This is their last chance, they may just shock some folks.
4. Several positions of need are filled. RB (yes, would have been nice for 1 more, but Hammonds is a beast as well) LB's Thank you Lord!, DB's... nice, we should have a better pass rush with the bodies we now have.

I am not a gloom and doom, yes I wish we could finally get the higher rated prospects to sign, but it is trending up slowly and surely.

I view this class much like Mich. States in the past few years. Not bad, not bad at all...

How is that a net gain?
I'm assuming the player transferring out is doing so because it's clear that he's not going to play. The grad transfer coming in, if he's able to contribute, is a net gain. Contributor vs non-contributor

I'm making some assumptions, obviously.

Can Jefferson is a bad example. He was injured most of the season he had here and didn't even dress at the end of the year.

Do you know of any other graduate transfers that we've had the past three years that has contributed in any meaningful way?

In a sense, that really reinforces my point on why, generally, junior college players would be more preferable than graduate transfers.

How many graduate transfers have we had in total? Not very many. We've had way more JUCOs.

The point being made is that we can still take grad transfers if we have any scholarships open up. Not that grad transfers >>> JUCO.

We have only had Jefferson transfer in as a grad transfer. So, that's a very small sample size.

It has been great for other programs around the country.

It also looks like we are in the running for the transfer of Michigans RB who was granted a release. The Brown kid. Both Bert and Enos started following him a bit ago.

I wonder why he's fizzled so much at Michigan? He was 5 stars, right?

He was their leading rusher in 2014 before he broke his clavicle and missed the rest of the season. De'Veon Smith took over as the starting RB and held the starting spot in 2015. Smith was a 4-star as a recruit.

Derrick Green didn't get that many careers last season. Not sure why.

5.7 ypc in 2014, solid.

A quick google shows he didn't even dress out for most of Michigan's games this year, especially later in the year. Weird.

Kid must have fallen off hard or Harbaugh just didn't mesh with him/doghouse and that was that.

I'd still take him in a heartbeat that's for sure.
