Do you guys think Yeldon is coming out this year? Don't get me wrong I think he is good but he hasn't had a big season. Above average I think. So is he even projected round 2 or 3?

Last stats I see of him is 837 yrds and 6 yrs. He had 1400 last year. Doubt he gets more than 1200 this year but maybe possible.

I think he'll go between the 3rd and 5th round. Gurley and Gordon are definitely higher ranked backs, and then you have other guys who will make a charge. I think he COULD go second, but right now I'm not confident that he will.

So with that said does he come out for a 3-5th possible round draft pick or does he stay another year to increase that?

Would love to have TJ another year. He would take over basically every rushing record at Alabama, which wouldn't be touched for years.

I don't think he has any reason to stay from a long term standpoint. He won't have many miles on him because he shared the load for three years. I slotted him 3rd to 5th because it seems some injuries are creeping up + he hasn't performed well this year. That said, he has had it rough. Cam and Arie are the only guy getting any push in the run game. He isn't a combine freak type of guy either. He'll probably post a mid 4.5 forty time, if he runs it, showcase average hands, and then of course the 2013 fumble problem will be on the minds of GMs.

But I'm not qualified to really speak to his draft status. Only reason he'd come back is so he could completely rewrite the record books like Coop has, or if we finish ugly and he wants another ring.

He needs to go IMO. Think its best for all parties. He will go between 3rd and 5th IMO.

I spoke to a buddy of his back in August. As of August he was planning on declaring. I'm not sure if that is still true.

I think he leaves. He won't get any more carries next year than he will this year. Workouts and combine are the only thing that'll boost his stock, injuries will hurt it.

And I see him as a 3rd round guy unless his workout numbers are REALLY good.

Agree on the 3rd -5th round projection. He doesn't possess elite speed, but he has quick feet, hard to tackle and has great vision.

Smart decision would be for him to leave. He's done all he can do at the college level in my book. He's been a stud

I think he has played great this year. The rushing problems are much more offensive line related. We do not get the push in the run game like we have had in years past. He is cutting well and running hard. He has been way more effective than Henry as of late. Henry is a back that needs more help from the line because he doesn't have great cutting ability when in tight spaces. Yeldon does. He is far more effective against a team with a good defensive line. If he can't go against Miss St I see that as a pretty big problem.

Having said all that I see him as 3rd to 5th round pick most likely. He really struggles catching the football, so he won't be attractive to some teams.

Would prefer if he left. Hate to say it but I'm so sick of the yeldons (fumbles). I don't even call them fumbles anymore. They are yeldons...

He hasn't really fumbled this year though...the other night was only because he got injured, tough to blame his ball carrying ability in that situation.

You are smoking crack if you really think that we will be a better team without Yeldon next year.

He should go out for the draft. Teams don't take RBs high due to the way that the postition is used in the NFL now. He might improve his status with one more year, but not enought to risk injury next year.

I would love for him to come back, but I doubt he will.

Based on the impression I've gotten from several students who have been around him in person, I would assume he's going pro.

He is our best back, especially between the tackles. I think, for him, he needs to go to the NFL. He's played hurt for most of the year and there is no need for him to come back and risk possible severe injury.

I think people are really gonna see his value to this team when he isn't back there.

Henry is a nice back but, he isn't in the caliber of backs that have come before him, including Yeldon. He's just too slow to the hole and too tall and slow footed to run between the tackles.

I can see Yeldon being an effective NFL back, has has all the little things that makes a RB good. Except for one BIG little thing, but fumbles can be cut down(he's done a better job year by year).

It muddles the backfield, but I'd love to see him back. I don't think his stats this year are too big of a deal, scouts have seen his first 2 years and see how the offense has shifted feature to Cooper more so than the RB.

At worst, I could see him as a taller Roy Helu. Runs #2 in the backfield, but holds an advantage as a 3rd down back in receiving and pass protection.
