That has been the speculation all along. Will it happen?

IDK but if he is I will have a drink to that.

I think it is highly likely. He has had 3 months to show his stuff and to demonstrate some off-field stability. He knows the players, the terminology, etc...

I don't think so.

What I've been told with Kiffin to Houston to watch for is that Sarkisian to LSU is now in play. Slim to no chance Sark is next OC at Bama.

I think he will be the next OC. I would think he would rather hitch his wagon to Saban rather than O. You never know but it makes more sense to me for him to stay at Bama.

Well if the rumors that he relapsed after the SEC championship game are true, I doubt he gets a look.

I didn't hear about that rumor. My "insiders" failed me. Lol

Why would anyone take that seriously?

Literally nobody should take that seriously, but apparently BOL insiders were posting yesterday that Sark fell off the wagon - which is probably where she got it.

Even if Sarkisian fell off that proverbial wagon, it's not like the man can't overcome it. I know this to be so.
I think it's a pretty good bet that St. Nick brought him here to become O.C., but moreover, Saban seems to be a guy that is willing and able to help a man that needs help. If Sark did drink again, he needs help now more than ever. He can do this and Saban can help him do it.

Why would Mattie-Lou Chandler know this information?

This was my point without coming out and directly stating it in the thread title. There were multiple posts alleging that he had fallen off the wagon over the weekend and had been all but fired. I wasn't sure what the rules were about posting allegations like that. Does anyone know if there is any truth to the rumor?
The same board has several posts by what appear to be UA students alleging that Kiffin is a frequent visitor to various bars on the strip. Funny thing though...there never seems to have been a photo show up on social media. I can't help but think that if Lane Kiffin walked into a bar on the strip, a half dozen photos would be posted to Facebook and Twitter by morning.

Have now read numerous places the Sark thing isn't happening.

We all have. I'm looking for facts. No one seems to have any.

Sure we all want to see someone beat this disease and I am sure Saban will do whatever he can. However, can we afford to take the risk of him falling of the wagon if we name him OC? Can we afford him falling off the wagon in the middle of next season? Do we want to take that risk? He was fired from USC mid-season for this very thing. The stress and pressure is going to ramp 1,000 fold if he gets the OC job and I am not sure he can handle it.
Edit: This is assuming these rumors are true.

There aren't going to be facts, but people who generally only speak when they know things for a fact are saying it won't be him.

Yep, which were my exact questions two weeks ago.
