If I had to guess anyone I would say Emmons. I don't think any will transfer though.

We'll see if a healthy Emmons gets more time than JJ.

With that many RBs on the roster, and the best one possibly being the youngest one (Najee), then obviously some are going to transfer.

First of all, there's not a chance in hell that Damien Harris goes pro after this season. He'll be lucky to be drafted in the 5th round. Js

I think a lot of people are sleeping on Emmons. I actually liked him a tad better than Jacobs before his injury.
Najee is a freak. He will be our #1 back at some point.

I think Damien might transfer for his senior season honestly. I know this board loves DHarris, but there's a realistic possibility that he'll be our 5th best back this fall.

I'm starting to think that Damien boinked your girlfriend, bro.

He may have boinked her but that doesn't make him wrong.

I'm not saying that Damien Harris is a bad back by any means. He would probably start at most D1 programs in the country (why I could see him transferring). It's just that we have 2-3 backs on our roster that will end up playing on Sundays, and he's not one of them. Sorry for keeping it real

okay, because in the other thread you stated:

how many schools in the country would not start Damien? Haha really? The answer is "a lot"

You are entitled to your opinion, but I just don't see where you are coming from regarding Harris. How do you ultimately judge a player's ability? Production. Harris was VERY productive last year. He was physical, he displayed great vision, and while he doesn't have the breakaway speed that Bo or Derrick have, he showed great quickness and cutting ability.

Only by default in the fall. Bo was not 100% and Emmons was injured. In my opinion if everyone was healthy JJ was the 4th best and maybe even RS last fall.

If healthy it will be Bo and D Harris as the top 2 backs. It will be hard to kepp Najee off the field and I think a healthy Emmons will play ahead of JJ. I think BR will redshirt and if things play out the way I think I cold see JJ transferring out before anyone else.

But I think Bo will definitely be gone after next year because his self life is going down. D Harris I would not be surprised to see him leave for the draft either. He will split carries with Bo and Najee will definitely push for time year 2. I do not see D Harries being the feature back again in our offense. Not to say he will not get 1000yds but he will not be the feature back if everyone remains healthy.

I really feel like Najee will rise to the two deep rather quickly. He has been going beastmode in practice and the kid is an absolute monster. It won't be easy on a team with 2 or 3 other elite backs but guys like Najee Harris simply don't sit on the bench. Instead they change outcomes and take over games.

With said, attrition in situations like this is to be expected but there is a really good possibility that the NFL could take 2 of them off our hands. I would still guess that leaves one very good athlete that transfers in 2018. I won't count any of these guys out though.

Eh, I think he displayed more skill then Emmons for sure, and in no world was he ever going to RS. That being said. Is "3rd or 4th best" that bad of a thing when every guy could potentially be drafted?

JJ displayed some fantastic vision, instincts, quickness, speed, and cutting ability last year. He never quite out it all together consistently. But he made some turns, and found holes, that very few guys can. He strongly reminded me of Ingram at times because of his running style, but he is definitely a step or 2 faster than Mark. I don't think he was used to his full potential, but how could they? When they had 2 rbs ahead of him who both, at minimum, have all-SEC caliber ability. JJ feels like the Lacy to of this group, but then we already have the next Yeldon, Drake, and Henry already behind him.

JJ is very special, problem is, so is every other back on the roster.

FTR, it's a problem I LOVE having.

But I can't imagine someone doesn't transfer before it's all said and done.

I am glad you find it amusing and if I wrong we will know come fall if everyone is healthy and we see him getting the ball not in mop up. But go show me the proof to back up if everyone was 100% if would have been getting the ball like he did. He touched what in the playoffs as a RB twice. Stewart got more rushing yards then he did in the playoffs. But again we will wait and see come the fall.

I'm not a huge fan of transfer speculation, but of all the guys to suspect of transferring, some of y'all think it will be the guy who went over 1,000 yards on fewer than 150 carries? That makes absolutely no sense.
