a crap about his OC duties anymore? Some even say he's sabotaging the offense. Come on....really? Do you actually think Saban would put up with this BS if that was the case? Do you think Saban would let lane call the plays, especially in the playoffs and now the title game if that was true? HECK NO!!! yes, the game plan for Washington was vanilla but I think Saban had a lot to do with that. Saban would yank that play sheet out of his hands on national TV if he thought Lane didn't give a sh!t and he dang sure wouldn't be on the sidelines Jan 9! I trust Saban and I trust the process......

I said it last night and I'll say it again now, we were very, very vanilla on offense against Washington. It looked like a NFL Preseason game.

That was on purpose. Yes, it was infuriating to watch in the moment, but it made sense after the game was over. Save our best shite for the real true test in Clemson (or Ohio State had they won).

I don't think the reason was to save stuff, I just think we felt good about where we were with our defense and that the last thing we wanted to do was hand a VERY opportunistic defense an easy, short field for Peterson to find one play to score points.

It was an old school gameplan. We knew they couldn't drive 70 yards on us, but Peterson could scheme 3 plays from inside our 50.

However, Kiffin did have some play calls, even in the overall theme of conservative/don't turn it over offense, that were just insanely ridiculous.

Saving up all the best stuff, IMO. When you can win handily with vanilla play calls, why would you show your hand until you have to?

If the gameplan looks like a million bucks Monday night, I'll believe this horseshite you're selling 100%. Until then, while I think there is some truth to your argument, I think there's a grain of truth in the other one as well. Kiffin can't wait to get the hell out of Tuscaloosa. And he's doing his job, but he's not committed to it anymore and it shows in the results. It's not deliberate sabotage, it's just the work of a guy in the last few days of a job he's ready to leave. Vanilla gameplan or not, some of his calls were just unbelievably dumb and detrimental.

That's because apparently he learned nothing from CNS. He's made snarky shitty little comments all week about leaving Bama, misses the team bus, then turns in a shitshow of playcalling duties in the Peach Bowl. You're begging to be told to GTFO. Wish granted, don't let the door hit you.

He can't help it. Deep down he will always be Joey Freshwater, which is why he is at FAU instead of Houston.

No matter what happened, airing it out this soon on that shitshow of a program will not help him. I really hope he knows that. Deep down inside I don't think he will take the high road though.
