Alabama next year will have very similar personnel, this could be the best pass rushing defense we have ever had along with a solid secondary. Find a couple of tree stump run stoppers and we are set.

I like their defensive scheme a lot. Those guys take no prisoners.

And at our level we have the personnel to do those types of things. It will be very difficult to stand in the pocket vs Alabama/

Unless we play Deshaun Watson again next year...he beat us in and out of the pocket...while I think we can improve against him if we play again, I don't see us doin' to him what Denver did to Cam...

They played how I have been screaming for us to play against these mobile guys. Pin your ears back and go after him. Screw this contain shite that we try to do. All it does is give the guys more time for our coverage to break down.

Auburn fans being predictable as usual- blaming Shula for the loss. somehow you just know it would somehow come back to Alabama.

The speed we have on defense is crazy.

Hand and Allen at DE are both athletic freaks at 270-280.

Reuben Foster, Rashaan Evans, and Tim Williams give us a lot of speed at LB. Ryan Anderson is no slouch either.

I doubt there is a faster or more athletic secondary than our projected Dime group, which could include Marlon, Minkah, Sheff, and TB. Plus Jackson and Harrison.

Denver's gameplan was kinda like Bama's gameplan in the 1st half of the 10 Iron Bowl. Blitz, blitz and blitz somemore. To bad Bama changed the gameplan in the 2nd half of that game.

I agree 100% and was the reason I wasn't devastated when Kirby left . Not that he didn't do a great job here . I just think it would be hard to do worse with the talent on hand .

Bama already had 2 losses and wasn't going to be in the national championship picture. Auburn had zero losses and beating Bama and then the SECCG was going to propel them to the BCSCG. Do you think the powers that be in the SEC would have been okay with Bama winning that game?

Even with a loss in that game, Auburn still would have likely gone to the NCG.
