He was #1 receiver before getting hurt in 3015. Been invisible since. What's the deal?

He couldn't find enough plutonium to make it back to the present.

Not sure if he ever fully recovered from the injury last season.

For that matter, though, our entire receiving corps has been kind of invisible this year. Stewart and Ridley have been basically used as running backs about as much as receivers. A lot of folks blame Kiffin, but it isn't that.

Overhyped, and his injury probably sealed his fate.

He only plays 1 WR spot, and that spot is occupied by Ridley. And when they go 3 wide, they like to have good blockers out there. Foster is not know as such, whereas Dieter and Sims are.

Who knows, maybe Sark will take a liking to him?

We get it, bro.You think Jalen sucks. No need to restate this in every thread.

I mean, Stewart is having his best season yet, and Ridley is just having his sophomore slump. Julio only had 596 yards and 4 TDS in 09 and Cooper had 736 yards and 4 TDS in 13. Ridley has 733 and 7 TDS with a game to play. Depending how the NC game goes Stewart could end up with over 1000 yards. Both would probably be over 1000 if not for the 2 have mini slump in the pass game

I don't think he sucks. I think he's a very good runner and a very inconsistent passing qb. I have said many times that I expect he will get better, but so far this year, he hasn't been very good, and it has rendered this potentially elite wide receiving corps as pretty much under utilized.

I wouldn't blame Hurts either. He's done as well as you could expect a 18 year old QB to do, and our pass blocking has been pretty weak this year. Without his legs, it could've been much worse.

This is the most accurate post on the entire board.

All true but Kiffin IMO has also not done a very good job.

I do think Sarkisian will do a better job with the QBs. He, and not Kiffin, was the QB coach for those awesome USC teams.

I look forward to watching the offense next season.

Agreed. As inconsistent as his passing has been, no way we're playing in Mondays game without him. No other QB
we had on roster would have gotten us where we are.

So ANYWAY, to the point of the OP, idk.
Robert Foster was electric as was Cam Sims. Like others have said though, if Calvin Ridley only has 700 yards, I don't think there are enough passes to go around anyway

Well, apparently, the coaches thought Jalen was the best option. But, there's no way to know if your statement is true. If we'd played another QB, the game plans would have been totally different to play to that QB's strengths.

As far as Foster, I don't know. I suspect he's good, just not as good as the guys that we already aren't really using on the field.

This might be it, especially if he is still not 100% ready from his injury. I am sure not all players heal as fast as others plus it might just be that the injury slid him down the depth chart as well?
