I love the way he plays. He has really good speed and he seems to grasp the scheme and get us in the right play.

He's a very good college linebacker. I think our LB group could flip from a bit of a concern to a real strength when Evans and Jennings return. Holcombe, Hamilton, Evans and Jennings are a solid group, and the young guys could go back to learning on the job in a less reliant role.

He's been solid. Don't see it changing.

High football IQ, not the most physically gifted player but holds his own out there. He is my sister's favorite player because of his diabetes.

He's a great tackler and is in the right spot a lot of the time.

He's actually pretty dang athletic. I know he's white, but he was a high school safety who stole 4 bases his freshman year playing SEC baseball and hit leadoff. He ran a 4.44 40 yard dash in high school and his official high school 40 time was 4.52.

Not a lot of SEC linebackers who could do all that.

Not to mention vs. FSU he was starting at Mike in Dime - which requires a great deal of athleticism. I'm sure if SDH hadn't torn up his knee last year - he's probably the every down guy.

Holcombe isn't SDH/Mosley/Foster but people who label him unathletic or whatever b/c he's white clearly show they have no idea what's going on out there.

Probably more than 50% of our fans have that opinion. It will take him making an amazing play before he gets any respect from the moronic masses.

When I watched his high school film I thought he looked like the waterboy tackling people. I'm not surprised at all he doing so well
