12 wasn't a big deal, since we still won the title. I just hated it because I was at the game, and Nuss' play calling was atrocious. If they fed it to lacy four times at first and goal, we win that game.
But it put y'all on the map in the SEC, and you've rustling Cajun jimmies ever since. So it worked out well for everyone.

This. It was our biggest win in a decade, maybe longer. And since y'all did go on to win it all, it kind of validated our conference move.
