Turns out he actually needs consistent carries to do well

God Saints fans can be ignorant sometimes. RBBC was never w good plan with a first round pick.

go check out some of the Ingram threads on Saints talk. Some of those clowns cant stand the idea that Ingram is good. so much butthurt over alabama that it even permeates into the NFL

I am convinced being on camera on the sideline on 1/9 is where a lot of the hate comes from.

I have been saying this all along. Using him in short yardage only situations when the defense knows you are running, did not help him at all. From the 2nd half of last year on, he has been running hard and he just gets better as the game goes on.

He's certainly done well when given the opportunity. I just wish they would stop with the fricking stretch running plays. The Saints' offensive linemen aren't athletic enough to make it to the edge to block for him.

His performance last night was beastly though. Everytime I see a LSU fan bitching about him on the Saints board I look like this:

Some of them are starting to get on the Ingram Pain Train. Others are just so anti-Alabama that they can't see straight.

It really pissed them off when he was in
Tiger Stadium wearing a RMFT shirt in 2012.

I've been on the Ingram train since his rookie year. Got his rookie jersey and haven't stepped off. He's one of those backs who need to get touches to get going. His vision picks up with his rhythm. The RBBC the Saints run hasn't been a great fit but with the injuries he's been able to show who he really is.

It's fun to be proven right.

Yeah, and it seems like every time Ingram has a good game, the Saints dominate the score board. Who woulda thunk it.

This is true.

It's also reasonable for us as Bama fans to acknowledge that he was borderline awful his first season and a half.

Sean Payton's got the super bowl ring and I don't really care what he does with his RB's, but I personally don't agree with the way he uses his backs.

Eh, he really didn't get a chance to show his stuff. I mean do you really think you are going to get the best out of Mark Ingram by giving him a carry, then immediately taking him out for a drive or multiple drives, rinse and repeat?

He also decided to get in shape for the Saints style of offense.

This is true. He looks much more cut this year than he did his first 2 years with the Saints.
