And one is a QB. I think this year is going to be pretty fun y'all.

I honestly dont think a lot of people fully realize how epic our offense is going to be this year.

But we lose all our alpha males on defense

We scored 38.8 points per game last year. Assuming we stay healthy, I would be shocked if our average wasn't 40+ per game this year.

I don't know if we'll score more points. But, I expect the offense to be more "dependable" this year. Kiffin relied on big plays too much for my taste. I think Stewart was our biggest loss on that side of the ball. He never really got the appreciation he deserved. That said, I don't think it's a loss we can't overcome if Jalen and some of the young guys improve. And if the offensive line can return to past glory.

Defense helped with that number, so I don't know that it will go up. Might actually drop a little but hopefully the offense will be more stable and consistent.

As long as hurts has improved I agree, but it is hard to make that statement definitively yet. I am fairly nervous about (1) has hurts improved his passing (heard mixed reviews on people that have sat in on practice) (2) the new look of the OL and (3) how our new offense will look and gel with a new OC

Idk man, I am about as confident as it gets that this offense is about to wreck shite, Murphy's law aside.

I'm a bigger Jacobs fan than anything but I really want D. Harris to shut everyone up once and for all

Efficiency is key. I'm pretty fine if the offense is averaging just over 35 ppg if it means we're consistently driving down the field, eating up the clock, and scoring in the red zone.

YES. If we'd been running the 2012 offense last year, that defense might have had the best numbers of all time. AND we'd have still put up a lot of points.

That's what concerns me most about Saturday. In time we'll be fine and by the time we get into the meat of our scedule we'll will start rolling along. But for Saturday it worries me that Daboll will be calling plays for the first time in 4-5 years and doing so against a defense like FSU's.

Who gets the most rushing yards Saturday?

Harris 1 or 2?
Bo?
JH?

I'd say D. Harris gets the most yards but Bo gets a couple goal line scores.

This is what will decide the game.

Well not really, if our WR or RB fumbles 3 times that may do it or our defense getting canoed. We just don't know yet. So pinning the entire success on that 1 thing is not accurate.

In the trenches is where it will be decided. Can our OL open up holes to run and give Jalen time to survey the field? Can our front 7 stop the run and punish Francois everytime he drops back to pass?

That's because they...me included...aren't taking a much improved downfield passing game as a given.
