Game starts on 12 on FSN. We are 12.5 underdogs if you're into lady basketball gambling.

All you gotta do is having a wining record to make it basically. I think we will.

Yeah that's true but staying above .500 will be hard if they don't play a full 40 mins and not let teams get on huge runs..because the SEC is so deep...

I like what Coach Curry is doing with the program. Alabama's WBB has never really been competitive from what I remember growing up. She's made it where I'll at least give it a watch to see what the team is doing. Still not there yet though.

Rick Moody had some great teams back in the 90s. Dominique Canty and Brittany Ezell were a couple of the better players from that era. I believe they even made a final four appearance, and lost to La Tech. During that span they were probably tied with Vandy for 2nd behind UT.

Ah. Well I must say, I'm not too big of a Women's Basketball fan, even if 'Bama was good. Social media nowadays keeps me up to date on a lot of things.

Oddly enough, I found out that Moody's Final Four run was largely seen as a fluke even at the time, ala VCU's appearance a couple years ago. Alabama WBB has been pretty good at moments and usually made the tourney at their peak, but have never been really any more successful than the men with ZERO SEC season or tourney titles and handful of sweet sixteen appearances to their name.

Curry's first battle will be to get them back to consistent and at least average... then we can talk about being relevant.

I think eventually if Curry gets some more of the home talent to stick around (like Shaquera Wade 2015) she can turn this program around in a few years....Just look at what South Carolina has done..Their history is pretty comparable to what Alabama has done. They both had good teams in the 80s and not much else, until Staley turned them into a final 4 threat these past 2 years..before that there was growing pains which it seems like Bama is going through atm.

There are a couple studs instate in 2016 too so if she can land them, we're set going forward.

ETA: Cierra Johnson trimmed her list to us, auburn, Baylor, Georgia, and Tennessee.
