man! awesome for Bo. he'd still be at Bama if he'd just been honest the first time. he's a good dude and i'm glad he's back in it. he'll be there for a year and then we'll have to recruit against him in the SEC i bet.

Glad to hear it, I read an article on him recently and he was working a normal job and missed coaching dearly. He was ashamed of what happened among his family, such a shame he had to be fired and couldn't be corrected.

I kind of hate how quickly people who make mistakes get thrown away in these situations, when it could serve as a good learning moment etc.

Good pick up for UTSA.

That chance can't be taken with the NCAA. He lied to both Alabama's compliance and the NCAA.

Yea, you don't get to screw up then lie about it. You certainly don't get to lie twice.

That'll get you fired just about anywhere.

Good for Bo. Based on everything I've read about him since his transgressions with UA, he owned all of them and did whatever he had to do to provide for his family during the process of waiting for his next coaching opportunity. It takes a real man to swallow your pride, admit when you're wrong, and to provide for your family no matter what.

Best wishes Coach Davis in the future.
