Yeah he is gone. He is taking all of our recruits except for Chris Williams, Keith Holcombe, and JK Scott.

That was a perfect situation for him to go to the nfl when he went to Miami. It makes very little sense for him to go to Texas.

I'm not upset at all because he would be absolutely tarred and feathered by everyone in the media of it happened
And at the rate Bama is going right now its a once in a lifetime job for ANY coach

There's no reason at all to ask that at a football presser, which is why Saban didn't waste anybody's time acknowledging it.

That might've been the case...and I hope it is but I will say this about BOTH U$Cw and Texas, it is a lot different job opportunity that the NFL and Saban knows he doesn't want the NFL. Bama fans ignore the advantages either of those schools offer but recruiting is a lot easier (prospects are a lot closer to home and more elite per capita) and for a coach his age that could be a major factor
