We need one of the freshmen to step up and be able to be counted on as a viable backup or replacement should Jalen get injured. If Tua puts himself in position to actually push for the job then that's icing on the cake.

I was at the scrimmage today and Tua did make some nice throws but it's Jalen's job to lose

I thought he looked pretty solid... threw some nice balls but hard to tell from scrimmage... Bo still limping bad and didn't scrimmage... Damien Harris left the field limping as well... Najee Harris jumped over two defenders while running and Dylan Moses is a freak

According to Saban, Jalen did really good. Completed over 50% and had 4 TD passes.

I'm calling it right now. Tua will prove to be a better passer (not necessarily winning the job), and Najee will either start at HB, or back up Bo. Dylan will be a major contributor as a Freshman

So a true freshman over a 1,000 yard running back?

I think this is awesome. Exactly what we wanted!! Jalen will start, but he is looking over his shoulder at Mr. Tua....

WOW. I do not know why that posted 3 times.. HAHA Alot of exclamation points too. Anyway, I just think of Sims and how he practiced over spring break and worked hard to be the 1st QB. To see someone push Hurts makes me think things are good. RTR

Just joking with you, but I agree. We certainly need depth at the position considering 3 have transferred since this time last year.

Ain't nobody taking the job from our boy Hurts but I'm glad to hear that Tua is already doing well. I knew he was a stud. What a great time to be an Alabama fan. This shite is so fun.

I could see it. Najee isn't any old average true freshman.
