I could only find the Dayton game on TV.

From the MBB site.
"Friday's game will be available online on SEC Network+ with Mick Gillespie and Rick Moody on the call."

This is the first time that I've ever been nervous for the coach. I like Coach Avery so much, that I'm actually nervous for him. I don't have high hopes for this season, but I really hope it's a positive season for the program and Coach Avery.

Anyone going better scream their heads off. Lets give recruits an atmosphere they would want to play with

Not doing any predictions until I see Bama put up a monster performance tonight

I love the intensity, but we need to make some shots.

We opened up cold, but, hey, we finally put some points on the board!

Would y'all keep the starting lineup like it was or change anything for the Dayton game? I think I would start Coleman over Dazon so that we have someone running the point that's played in a hostile environment. I wouldn't let Dazon stay on the bench long though.

How strong is Dayton defensively? I wouldn't mind starting Ingram.

I'm not sure i would keep Dazon off the court much at all. I don't expect big things out of this season in the first place, so I feel like we can only benefit from him getting as many starts and minutes as possible.

Well, they held their opponent to 53. Our last trip there in Grant's 3rd year was unwelcoming. Honestly just hoping the team shows some promise and can make the Flyers feal uneasy wuth about 5 minutes to go in the game.

I honestly don't know. Just looking at their roster, they aren't an extremely tall team. They have a 6'9 and 6'11 kid that played some minutes, but those were their only players with significant length. They were led in their first game by some freshman kid that hit 5/7 threes. Hopefully they'll have an off game shooting and we can keep it close. I'd love to see a lineup at some point during the game of Coleman, Retin, Dazon, Hale, and Taylor. That would be a lineup that could really score on the fast break.

They had this weird thing last year where basically all of their players over 6'7" either got suspended or kicked off the team. I can't remember which, but I just remember listening to Parrish talk about it because he was talking about how awesome Archie Miller it.

This is sort of what Kentucky is doing this season, except none of the 3 guards has the sort of size that Dazon has.

I know I would love to see it considering how we are trying to play.

We have to get off to a fast start and defend the perimeter better. Start banging down on them early and hopefully get them in foul trouble. Once that happens, start draining threes and let them play catch up with their bench. Hale and Retin have to have good games for us to be in this one
