Glad he's doing better.

Getting back on track, I definitely think Norris has earned a spot over Edwards. He's much more fundamentally sound, he's a decent rebounder, great at the charity stripe, and decent beyond the 3. I'd go Hale-Norris-Obasahan-Ingram-Taylor. Is anything wrong with that starting lineup?

That's Alabama's first win over a top-25 team in 21 straight attempts!!

Welp Avery is 1 for 2 against Top 25 Teams.

Grant is 0 for 19 against Top 25 Teams.

I'll take it.

Was Kentucky not ranked when we beat them in Tuscaloosa a few years ago?

Excuse me, the original post was discussing past 19 games. He was not 0 for 19 in his career.

Didn't think so, because in Grant's 3rd year, we had wins over Wichita State, Maryland, VCU, Purdue, Oklahoma State, and Oakland (made NCAAT previous year).

#17 Notre Dame 68
Iowa 62

We get a shot at back to back wins over ranked teams Sunday night at 7 EST on ESPNU.

ND is 4-1 and averaging 78.4 PPG.

Wins against St Francis (PA), Milwaukee, UMass Lowell and Iowa and a loss against Monmouth.

I honestly don't know anything about ND yet this season, so I'll have to do some research before the game. Bryant (or anyone that may know) tell us what to expect from the Irish, if you know anything about their squad this season.

Let's get another win. #BuckleUp

Didn't we play ND one year in bball where they came out in fur coats? Idk if it was in Wimp's days or C.M Newton, but my dad told me of a day when we played them, they came out to Coleman in fur coats and acted like bitches. frick ND anyways.

Ah, oh well.

Here's CAJ on the win yesterday.

quote:

“As I say, with our team on and off the court, everything’s an evaluation,” Johnson said. “So, it all started with this morning. I changed our workout this morning. We allowed them to sleep longer, we had a little bit of a longer walk-through in the ballroom. We ate later. We came over here a little bit later. Our warm-up on the court was different, and our halfcourt warm-up on the court; we went out earlier, and we just changed our routine a little bit. Because these 12 noon games, we haven’t really executed and had the mental and the physical toughness, in the second half especially. And especially offensively.

It is the first time the Crimson Tide has beaten a top-25 team on a neutral floor since Nov. 29, 2009 when Alabama downed then-No. 15 Michigan in the consolation game of the Old Spice Classic, coincidentally a 68-66 win.

Got a big task tonight vs ND. Need to get Jackson in foul trouble early, play sound defense, and be able to hit jump shots. They've got to be able to push the ball up court the way they did vs WSU. RTR

Not too surprising. Without VanVleet they're only decent, and without Grady they have no post presence.

We will have to shoot like we did against ULL to have a real shot tonight I would guess.

Wichita is so overrated this year. Great win for Avery nonetheless, but the Shockers are terrible.

I would hope we shoot like we did vs ULL. What was it, 15 3 pointers?
