I give Ingram hell, but he is a huge help rebounding.

Huge game tomorrow. Starting 5-1 in the SEC would be huge.

Probably not gonna happen. Heard Pearl on the radio yesterday. He's getting a player back and mentioned emphasizing this game because of who they are playing. Gotta give him credit, Auburn isn't very good right now, but there's already hella talent there albeit young and inconsistent but on any given night, they can push anybody in the conference not named Kentucky. They will be laying in the weeds waiting for us.

We were within ~5 @U.K. With only 6-7min to go. Unfortunately we got Rup'd and we had 7 guys with 4+ fouls and we couldn't play D after that

That is without Purifoy, our best player, too. Purifoy will be limited vs Alabama but I'd expect 10-15m from him

Kentucky led by double digits basically that entire game. Auburn made one run that lasted all of about 2 minutes before they blew the breaks off yall.

I think it will be. Last year, both games were pretty entertaining. Good for rivalry to keep building.

Stay safe for anyone impacted by the latest tornadoes. We're in a tornado watch also, so be on the lookout while we watch b-ball today.

We beat the frick out of Auburn 10-0 last night. We're 18-0 against them all-time. Tonight's game is at 7.

Aren't they like division 3 club level and we're division 1?

I know we're D1. I can only imagine they aren't higher than D3.

This is only our 1st or 2nd season in D1.

Not to momentarily derail this thread, but how would you feel if CC was turned into a hockey arena? Seems like our best bet for an on-campus hockey arena.

Would be great, but I would like for a way to make the capacity smaller. At least til the fanbase grows.

However, I would like to see a new arena built that can have both hockey and basketball.

If they didn't replace Coleman, where would a new arena go?

I think there's enough room in the parking lot there to put a smaller arena. Will have to deal with parking issues for a year or two, but it's doable. Then tear down Coleman, repave it, and you have your parking lot back.

I may be looking at it too simplistically, but that's always been my opinion of were a new arena should be.

Or you could put one on the Bryce property. Closer to students.

Maybe at the corner of Hackberry/Campus Dr.? There's already a parking deck across the street.

I could see that, but I thought Busey was saying we'd get a smaller basketball only arena, and keep Coleman for hockey and probably gymnastics too
