Is he starting to resemble Ken Darby when he gets to line of scrimmage he stops or dances around. Where last year he hit the line full speed.

The guy ran for 170 yards and a touchdown. This thread is retarded.

And like I posted in another thread:

quote:

This has easily been our worst performing Oline besides 2010, and we didnt have any 1000 yard rushers in 2010.

Yall are forgetting this. It hasnt been as easy as it was for the other guys.

Just repeating what was said what was said on the round table. Meaning the whole year not 1 game.

Comparing Yeldon to Darby is a slap in Yeldon's face, IMO.

What do you think is the problem with the oline. It has been a thorn in our side since the VT game. Personnel? Cristobal?

Not as much talent as past years.

Our Oline was still good this year, just not dominant like 08, 09, 11, and 12.

Why the talent differential? Did we not make oline a recruiting priority or did we whiff on some evaluations when Stoutland was here? Here is to hoping that our oline performs better next year. We will need them to with a new quarterback.

Well, Grant Hill is arguably more talented than anyone, so he is a definite bright spot for the future. Arie just doesnt seem to have IT. Steen has played very well this year.

They were all mostly highly recruited, some of them just havent panned out quite as well as the other guys. Its as much mental as it is physical for Olinemen. We have a good deal of young talent for the future.

I sure wouldn't go there. I would halfway agree with Funky...this OL isn't nearly as good...but I also don't think that Yeldon is the power runner that Coffee, Ingram, Richardson, and Lacy were. And that's not to say he's not a damn good back...Yeldon certainly is outstanding...but to paraphrase AJ, the last time I heard a commentator praise Yeldon for his yards after contact was never.

All I'm saying is watch a game from last year ,and watch this year. There is a difference in running style. I never said one bad thing about TJ. He is a excellent runner.

I did. I saw two top 10 picks and a 3 time All American last year, and 3 new, inexperienced starters this year.

I am not trying to be a dick, I am just saying, when you have guys penetrating the line almost every run play, you have to change your running style.

I am just saying, the guy averaged 124 yards a game against SEC competition. He probably knows what he is doing.

We replaced three starters, two of which were first round picks. C'mon, how would there not have been a dropoff? That's just hard to replace or live up to. We'll definitely improve in that area going to next season.

After last season TJ felt a bit like Freshman AP-lite. Not as powerful or anything, but some resemblances.

Now I feel like he's...actually I'm not sure. Lacy felt like a more powerful Arian Foster. Yeldon...I don't know. Last season I thought he was a lot faster, 4.42ish, now I think he is like 4.52. Good vision and everything, but ya know it feels like despite the good vision, he has been less decisive at times this year. Like he doesn't trust what he sees. Basically, inconsistent.

He was a young back running behind Veterans last year so he didn't need to sweat the small stuff now he does.

Probably because he couldnt trust what he saw this year behind our Oline. Jeez guys, he ran for over 130 yards in each of our last three SEC games, and we are complaining about him? This is crazy.

I'm not complaining. I was more talking about his NFL ability...
