Midnight madness is apparently at 6 PM.

No one does it actually at midnight anymore. I think it is smart to have it at 6 because it is easier to get a bigger crowd there.

Not gonna lie, slam dunk by Bama marketing and CAJ to get the actual artist of random song we happened to latch on to.
All that's left is to have Alabama perform Dixieland Delight live at half time along with C-Murder.

Haha that's pretty cool. I mean I don't like their music but they are trying.

Alabama men's and women's basketball will host its Tide Tipoff event on Oct. 27 at 6 p.m. CT in Coleman Coliseum, the university announced in a press release Wednesday.
The fan-friendly event is open to all students, season ticket holders, faculty and staff, as the Crimson Tide kicks off the 2015-16 season.
“I am honored and excited about joining forces with our women’s basketball program for the 2015 Tide Tipoff event, which is our version of midnight madness,” men’s basketball head coach Avery Johnson said. “This event will be a fun-filled night with both teams participating in a variety of activities that will be sure to entertain all of our fans. The highlight of our night is going to be a performance by one of the hottest hip hop artists out there in Rae Sremmurd. There’s been a strong commitment to University of Alabama men’s and women’s basketball programs by the administration and we’re thrilled to have all of our students, season ticket holders and faculty and staff invited to attend this exclusive event. All I want to say is Roll Tide and Buckle Up!”
For those unfamiliar with Rae Sremmurd, he is the artist behind the popular song "No Flex Zone."
“We are really looking forward to teaming up with the men’s team for this event to give our students, season ticket holders and faculty and staff a sneak peak of what is to come this season,” said women’s basketball head coach Kristy Curry. “There is so much buzz surrounding basketball at Alabama right now, and we cannot wait for this night to get everyone even more energized. You better buckle up because it’s going to be exciting!”
The event is free to all UA students, season ticket holders, faculty and staff. It will be a general admission, first come, first serve basis.
