Sloss Music and Arts Festival, Birmingham, July 18-19

Obviously not about Alabama sports.. But July 18 & 19th, 2015 there will be a music festival at Sloss Furnace in Birmingham.
Lineup was announced today:

Band of Horses
Primus
St. Paul & The Broken Bones
Cage The Elephant
Young The Giant
Lord Huron
Tyler, The Creator
Purity Ring
First Aid Kit
Manchester Orchestra
Big Gigantic
Sturgill Simpson
The New Pornographers
Robert DeLong
Noah Gundersen
Cathedrals
Milo Greene
Paul Thorn
Jessica Hernandez & The Deltas

Extremely solid lineup. The 18th is my girlfriend's birthday, so it will be a fantastic weekend. Can't wait.

That lineup is pretty decent for a 2 day festival. I'm already going to the Beale Street Music Fest this year but may try to swing this one as well. It would be nice to have a good festival in the Birmingham area every year.

Sounds like a bunch of randomly named groups of kids. Either that or I'm just old.

I'm 22 and recognized 6-7. I even started the thread I'm more just excited for something like this to be coming to Birmingham.. and it helps that it is so close to where I live in Birmingham.

I'm 27 and recognize about 15 but I am an active music listener who doesn't just listen to whats on the radio.

99% of my music comes from Sirius and Pandora.
