Tom Arnold is saying Saban showed interest during the offseason. I haven't been on here in a while so I might have missed it but is this true?

How would Tom Arnold know anything? He had sex with Roseanne, anything he says is invalid

Normally I'd agree but ESPN, SDS, and other networks have articles on it. Just wondering if it's been proven false.

It hasn't been proven true either. He's a comedian.

No idea but I doubt it. Saban has been so successful at Alabama that if he makes the jump it will be a media nightmare. I just don't see him going through that at this stage in his life/career.

Based on certain info that I know, I honestly think there is ZERO validity to this.

Not what I would call a reputable source.

Not sure if many of you remember, but Tom used to, if not still, spend a lot of time in Tuscaloosa and around the football team.

He can show interest in multiple jobs every offseason so long as he always ends up staying.

There is a reason Perkins left them for Bama... Bama > NFL.

Yep, Arnold has a lot of Bama connections, and is a big fan.

Yes, I started to mention that he spent time. I've seen pictures of him wearing Alabama gear.

I don't know the extent of his involvement, but I would be downright shocked if it was on such a personal level with Saban that he would have this information where nobody else does, and would be comfortable enough with Saban to be the guy saying it.

But at the end of the day, this is guessing and I don't have a clue. I just can't consider him a credible source.

He supposedly got his info from the Giants side. Whatever his connections are with Alabama, they didn't give him any info.

So we're supposed to believe that Nick Saban had a boxing promoter let the Giants know of his interest and not the man that he pays a ton of money to represent him in things like contract negotiations?

I love the New York football giants. Let me just say that I am beyond glad, if this story is even true, that Nick stayed put.
