Could you cut up a video like you did earlier of Jakes tosses against the Rebels? No rush. Whenever you have time.

I really want Bateman's. I can't understand all the hate he's getting. he was 11 of 14 It looked to me like he was playing like AJ/GMAC did at times when they struggled a bit. Nothing to throw him under the bus for.

Agree

I do wish he would have kept the ball a couple of times on the read-option. It was wide open the whole time.

It would have made "his game" more functioning. Small ball isn't gonna turn the ball over, but it almost always lacks a spark. And since they were having little success running the ball with Henry at that point, it made the offense lame duck.

Bama wasn't imposing their will, so it made that offensive style much less successful...

One other thing starting Bateman and falling behind due to those 3 early Turnovers was Coker came in with the mentality of a gunslinger. I mean he was letting the ball rip and was playing like he didn't care.

For the life of me, I don't think Saban would have allowed the team to start the game like that. Everyone saying Coker would not have fallen behind is ignoring the Saban conservative football factor. The game plan changed when we fell so far behind.

Coker was like Frick-it. Anybody remember the play when he didnt know the play call for the sidelines, so he just shrugged Kiffin off? He was a different dude mentally Saturday and it almost got us a win. He wasn't perfect, but he wasnt pressing either.

Bateman was throwing 5 yard swing passes, minus his pass to OJ for a big chunk he was awful at getting the ball down the field or driving the offense to scores.

There's a cut up if anyone wants to watch the old fashion way: LINK

I'm at Bateman's INT, which I can't tell if it was intended for Stewart of Mullaney, so far his ball placement was off.

He overshot Mullaney coming out of the backfield on a easy completion on the first drive after OJ completion got them down in the redzone. He threw behind a crossing Stewart, making Ardarius come back for it and falling short on 3rd and goal.

This is how I feel. I have never been a big Coker supporter but I actually liked what he did on Saturday. Sure he threw an Int late but he took over when we were behind and even in the 4th qtr he drove us down field and came very close to winning the game. I actually liked the fact he was willing to gamble and the team seemed to be energized behind it at times.
