Reuben Foster will be a wrecking ball this year

Go ahead and get ready, the bone collector is going to absolutely wreak havoc on opposing offenses this season. Reports from camp are that he has "put on good weight" and fixed his tackling technique. Couple that with his athleticism and football instincts and I pity the fool that runs in his direction. I think we will get back to intimidating, "make his arse quit" football, and our front 7 will be the catalyst for that. Our line is going to keep the backers clean, and Foster and Ragland are two of the most imposing linebackers in the country. Fear will ensue. Fumbles will occur. Nightmares will be had.
Eta: and Jarran Reed is poised for a 2009 Marcel Dareus type impact. He's down from 318 to 306, ran a 5.08, and benched 500 pounds in spring testing at presumably a heavier weight than he carries now. A nasty, nasty defense is in store

I try to refrain from saying stuff like what I'm about to say, but frick it I'm going all in:
This front 7 is the closest you will ever see a CFB front 7 to being an NFL front 7.
If I had a mic, I'd drop it.
THAT DL freeing up THOSE LBs is the scariest thing in college athletics.

I can't wait to see him de-cleat some fools.

Ragland and Foster forming a Ro/Hightower duo would be awesome. And they should have a better DL playing in front of them. I'm going to be pissed if we allow a 100 yard rusher this year; Chubb and Fournette be damned

You forgot Christian Miller, OJ Smith, Johnny Dwight, Keith Holcombe, and a plethora of freshmen that will redshirt and transform into monsters

Johnny Dwight
If his still continuing move to TE isn't permanent.

I would think it's permanent with OJ, TFS, and Ball all upper classmen
I watched him some on fanday. Moves pretty well for someone his size but will probably never be more than a blocking TE. Same for Ball

Is Reuben running with the ones? I was hoping he wasn't Jerrell Harris 2.0.

I thought Lee was running along side Ragland and Hamilton and Foster were second group.

Lee runs with the ones in base...Foster is the dime backer from what I've read which leads me to believe he'll be on the field in nickel too...or basically 80% of our defensive snaps

Kirby needs to show Reub some film from the 49ers from like 2 or 3 yrs ago with Pat Willis down in the box wreaking havoc on runners and blitzing, that is the role I feel Reuben would excel at and Reggie playing coverage in the middle
This D is gonna be ridiculously good
