The Missing Ring - About how we got screwed out of a national championship in 1966. Biggest screw job in the history of college football.

I knew that would be recommended, but I've read it twice. Thoughts on Bear?

There are several books on Bryant that have been written and I have read them all. I remember "The Last Coach" and "Bear" being pretty good. Junction Boys is an obvious one. The book is a lot better than the movie....there was another good one abut the 1970 USC game and Sam Cunningham.

That unauthorized biography on Saban that came out last year was pretty good. Saban was royally pissed off about it but I thought it was interesting and well written. If you want to know why Saban is like he is, it's a good read. There is another one about the Process that just came out I want to pick up. It's more discussing his philosophy for success. (4th and Goal Everyday)and another one about 2007-2008 timeframe about how he turned the program around.

I enjoyed Rammer Jammer Yellow Hammer by Warren St. John. The Missing Ring by Keith Dunnavant was also good.
