I know that there is no way to know what would have happened if any of these plays had not happened, but how do you guys rank plays in terms of importance to us winning?

For me:

1. The 2nd and 12 swing pass to OJ to put us in the position to seal the game.

I truly believe that if we go 3 and out or even 6 and out right there, we lose the game. At that moment, we just could not stop their offense, and it was looking like our offense was going to have a 3 and out. What easily could have been a loss to set up 3rd and very long, turned into an incredible catch and run by OJ. That play was the biggest IMO.

2. Coker's 3rd down scramble/Henry's goal-line TD to seal the game.

I would not have felt good about winning the game had Watson had a minute to score a go ahead game-winner. Coker and Henry displayed sheer will-power and guts on these plays. Incredible individual efforts by them, and it was a microcosm of both players' play the whole season. In a game of inches, There were able to get the inches that we needed.

3. The onside kick

This was a total momentum changer, obviously. We might have had a different momentum changing play had we just kicked off to them, and we still very possibly could have won, but maybe not. It changed the mood of the game completely.

4. the 3rd down stop to force a 3 and out for Clemson when they were up 3 and had great field position, and a chance to go up 2 scores. They had all the momentum, and our defense could have laid down and let Watson do whatever he wanted, but they sacked up and forced a 3 and out.

Before that series, I told myself that that was the most important defensive series of the game for us, and it was. Things could have gotten out of control for us if we had have let them score a TD there.

5. The kickoff return by Drake.

The most exciting play of the game for sure. It was very important to us winning, and was one of the best plays in Alabama history, but we might have driven down and scored a touchdown anyway, and would have ran even more time off the clock doing so.

****I am not devaluing any of the plays that did not come in first. They were all extremely important in us winning the game. This is just my opinion in terms of importance.****

Coker scrambling to convert a 3rd and 2 inside the five should be mentioned imo.

There's almost too many to mention...here's my best shot at ranking 'em:

1. Onside kick: even after the tying FG, all the momentum was with Clemson. The entire Bama sideline lit up after that play. We seized the momentum and never gave it back.

2. The TD pass to OJ after the onside kick: the onside kick would've meant nothing, if we hadn't capitalized on it.

3. Drake's KO return: gave us the 2-score cushion

4. The 63-yard swing pass to OJ: what makes this even more amazing to me is, from what I heard in the post-game interviews, that play wasn't even in the Bama playbook; someone said that Kiffin drew it up on the chalkboard during halftime.

5. Coker's late scramble for the first down before Henry's last TD; a FG would've only given us an 8-point lead...

6. Eddie Jackson's INT: Watson was in a groove, and Clemson looked like they might be headed for their 3rd straight TD drive...cooled Watson down and we shut Clemson out in the 2nd Quarter...

7. Ronnie Harrison's PBU: That was a sure TD if Harrison hadn't reached in and stripped the ball out...huge 4 point swing there...

8. Rashaan Evans' sack: He spied Deshaun Watson, kept to his lane to keep him in the pocket, and then sacked him on a key 3rd down...

9. Pettway's blocked FG: Kept the 2nd Quarter shutout intact...and kept Clemson from gaining momentum going into the half...

10. Derrick Henry's 50 yarder: know it was early, but think it made Clemson keep at least one extra man in the box throughout the game...

I think The EJ interception is one of the biggest plays of the game. While it was early, Watson was really getting into a groove at that point.

They scored at the end of the 1st Q to go up 14 -7 and we ended up punting back to them early in the 2nd quarter while still being down by 7 points. The interception gave the ball back to the offense with a short field. Alabama scored a TD on this possession to tie the score back up and nullify that initial momentum.

I'm not saying its the top but I think it's definitely top 3.

I also could've easily put Coker's incredible pass to Stewart down the sideline on third down in the top 5. That was wild.

I agree; that was probably Coker's best pass in the game as he threw it before Stewart ever made his break...I think Stewart said afterwards that he almost didn't catch it as the second he looked back, the ball was there...

Like I said, that was a game full of big plays...don't think I can recall a game where we had so many that were all crucial to winning. Daniel Moore will have a ton of material to choose for a painting in this one...gonna be a tough choice...which one you think he picks?

1. Onside kick - completely changed momentum and shell shocked Clemson a bit.

2. EJ INT - got Watson out of his groove, led to tying score.

3. Howard swing pass. I thought at that time it was the kill shot that would put Clemson away. Kudos to them for fighting back.

4. Drake KO return - 2 score game after it.

5. Coker 3rd down run. Love how they challenged him to beat Dodd, who had been whipping Jackson all night and getting to Coker. Very symbolic play.

If I were to do one, I would pick Drake's dive into the endzone.

But he will probably do a collage type reminiscent of the 2009 painting, which I think would work.

Onside Kick and its not even close. We went from behind and being lost on the filed, to being ahead by a touch town after the back-to-back scores. Saban chose to pull this gem out exactly when he needed it.

If he does a single play, I'm thinkin' that as well...I think the onside kick would be a good choice but I don't know how he could effectively reflect that play in a painting...

Stewart's 38 yd catch to setup the FG to tie it at 24 was pretty big

If you understand momentum then you have to go with the onsides kick as #1. Everything in the 4th qtr henged on it. Our defense was smashed and Saban knew it. So, he gambled on what he thought was a 50/50 shot. It worked and gave our sidelines a huge lift. 2nd is the Drake KO TD. That almost put it out of reach. 3rd I would say the Coker 3&11 pass to Stewart. I can't even believe he made that pass but making it gave him confidence he could do it.

I understand momentum, but I am basing my opinion off of I personally felt confidence wise. If we don't onside kick to them, the game was still far from over at that point.

I can see why you would put the onside kick at 1 though, it was a huge play and perhaps the biggest turning point of the night.

I rewatched the game last night, and left off Harrison stripping that sure TD out. That is a top 5 play as it held them to a FG.

Speaking of, that was the best pass I've seen a college QB throw in a long time. Just an amazing throw, and 9 times out 10 it goes for a TD.

I was at the game, and until I watched the replay I totally forgot about the Stewart catch. The only other game I can remember where I just couldn't remember all the big plays was 2012 Georgia.

That throw to Stewart was amazing. We were in the upper deck on that side of the field and when Coker threw it Stewart wasn't even close to turning around. I have no idea (a) how he saw it and caught it or (b) how Coker made that perfect a threw falling backwards AND being hammered.

Just incredible. And it was like the 5th best play of the game.

Watson made 2 or 3 of those throws. His accuracy on throws over 20 yards was nuts. That first TD, Minkah got beat and the help was late, but the throw landed right in Renfrow's bread basket. It was incredible.

1. Onside kick. Momentum changer big time. Team reenergized after that call

2. Drake Kick off return. Pretty much put the game out of reach by making it 2 scores and keeping the momentum with Bama.

3. Eddie Jackson INT. If Clemson scores on that drive and goes up 2 scores. Defense maybe hangs it head a bit.

4. Pass break up by Harrison in endzone. Crucial. Kept 4 points off the board.

5. Blocked FG by Pettway. kept another 3 points off the board
