Questions for anyone considering buying playoff tickets.

The deadline for ordering playoff tickets is Monday. I was thinking about ordering for the Sugar Bowl...and/or maybe the final.
There is no price given on the order form. That's not necessarily unusual.
So I called the ticket office today to get an idea at least of what the range might be. The lady I spoke with asked a supervisor just to make sure.
They have absolutely no idea what the prices will be, nor even what the range will be. They have received absolutely no information from the people running the playoffs. And if you order tickets and get them, they will charge your card without asking first if you want the ones you're assigned. That I can understand, because they obviously wouldn't have time to call thousands of season ticket holders. But you have no idea if the tickets you're buying cost $175 or $500.
I'm just curious how many of you are ordering tickets. I was planning on it, but I'm having reservations now. I would feel differently if, for example, they could tell me something like "well, the prices are $150, $225, and $300 depending on which seats you get." But they can't even do that.
Does anyone have any "inside information" other than what's being told to TIde Pride members?

I wish I knew more, all I know is I'm prepared to pay whatever they say.
It'd take a lot of 0s to keep me from attending the first CFB playoffs with Bama playing in em.

A co-worker has family ON the Sugarbowl committee. I purchased 2 tickets from him for 175$ each, face value. No Ticketmaster or anything else. Not ground level but balcony. Still good seats.

I have no idea what they will charge us, But i do know that when ticketmaster but sugar bowl tix on sale they were between 150-200 depending on the tix. Also know that if you got in on the team tix, the face value for an upper deck championship ticket is roughly 450ish.
