Alot of Alabama fans down here think this as well.

Take it with a grain of salt, as these guys are idiots.

I hope it's not true. Cornwell has the best arm talent on the roster.

When people say "arm talent" I always get the mental image of a person doing the snake with his arms or some sleight of hand or whatever. I know it means arm strength, but the phrasing of arm talent seems wrong to me. It's like people are trying to spin brute strength into an art form.

I don't think it's necessarily just arm strength. Tight spin, keeping the nose down, release time/angle. I think there is a lot that goes into arm talent.

With that said, there is certainly more than just arm talent that matters: reading defenses, footwork, timing, anticipating windows, knowing when to get rid of the ball, etc.

I've not heard anything but I won't be shocked if/when one of the QB's leave.

Don't know why anyone would leave now the the starting spot still up for grabs.

Players know and see stuff in practice that we don't see. Each QB knows how good of a chance they have at the starting job. It wouldn't surprise me at all if one transfers

Having QBs in 4 consecutive classes makes it very likely IMO.

Pretty much this.

I'd be surprised to see him transfer now but if it is the Bateman/Barnett show this fall, he'll be looking up at them and over his shoulder at the kid from Hawaii.

If he can graduate in 3 years, he could transfer with 2 years left to play like Ely. If that happens, how could you blame him? Good luck and thanks for what you did to help Bama.

He'll probably transfer to a mid-major like Phillip Sims, Phillip Ely, etc. That's the right move given that he's never really come close to seeing the field at Bama. One out of Barnett/Hurts/Tagovailoa will also probably wind up transferring out. That's the modern reality of QBs in major college football. You can't get too attached to the idea of any individual highly touted QB recruit eventually starting at Alabama.

I thought it was a foregone conclusion that we would see a transfer at the end of the QB battle... too much talent on the roster with high caliber freshman coming in each year to try and wait.

It feels like Cornwell has been on the team for 12 years now and every year has been rumored to transfer.

Did he ever truly get out of the doghouse?

When I heard Blake Barnett was Kiffins boy, and when I saw Jalen Hurts at A-Day, you should have known Cornwell was gone.
