By my count there have been 21 players leave early for the NFL Draft. What five players do you all think, if they would have stayed one more year, would have helped Bama the most the next year? Here are my five.

1. Dee Milliner. If Milliner would have stayed for the 2013 season, it would have given Bama a lock down corner that Bama sorely needed that year. Might have been enough to push Bama to a SEC Title.

2. Kareem Jackson. Bama had very little experience at the CB position in 2010. Jackson would have been a experienced lock down corner that the 2010 team lacked.

3. Rolando McClain. the 2010 team lacked an alpha dog leader to turn to when times got tough. McClain would have filled that role.

4. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. The 2014 team had one All-American Safety, but there was a huge drop off in talent after that at the Safety position.

5. Julio Jones. The 2011 team lacked a go to wide receiver. Jones would have more then filled that need. the 2011 team would have gone undefeated with Jones.

Honorable mention: Dre Kirkpatrick. With him and Milliner on the 2012 team, I don't see A&M lighting Bama up.

I would say milliner and clinton-dix. Both of those guys come back and we probably win 4 in a row

Rolando probably regrets leaving early at this point. No telling how different his story woukd have turned out if he'd played another year.

Julio Jones in 11 and we dont lose to LSU, may go down as one of the best teams of all time.

I'd argue it did anyway. The loss hardly matters when it was against another all time team, and you avenged it.

But Julio on that team and yeah, we obliterate everyone all season like we did, just by even wider margins.

I am about to get silly. Here goes. If Julio Jones, Dont'a Hightower, and Mark Barron all redshirt their freshman year and play till their senior year.... Dre Kirkpatrick and Courtney Upshaw both return for their senior year.... then in 2012 we would have Julio, Cooper, Yeldon and Lacy on offense and Dee Milliner, Dre Kirkpatrick, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Mark Barron, Dont'a Hightower, CJ Mosley, and Courtney Upshaw on defense.

Every single game would've been like 56-0.

And 2012 was AJ's 30-3 year, with Julio he probably goes for over 3k and like 38 TDs.

Lacy and Yeldon of course still get the same #s.

Dat defense though...
