We usually have that one cupcake game where we look like shite and then overreact, so I'm trying not to make this that game.

That being said, OM is IMO in the top three for most difficult games we play this season (OM, LSU, UGA) Chad Kelly has, so far, been very efficient. I know that they haven't played anyone, but our QBs didn't exactly look stellar today against bad competition.

Their physical receivers will be a mismatch for our DBs. Our secondary has still proven that it is a weakness.

Also, OM did a good job of stopping Henry last year. If that happens again, do we trust our QB to win the game for us against a great secondary?

I think we probably lose this game. Coker still takes too long to make decisions and that doesn't fly against a D like theirs.

As long as the team improves over the course of the season I like our chances to win out though.

I agree. I don't see how we could beat OM right now given our holes on offense, defense, and special teams. This may be the game we lose because we don't have a kicker.

Yeah, I think we're going to have to have some luck to beat Ole Miss. Our QB situation is just garbage at the moment and we'll need to be really efficient on offense to win.

I don't see how our secondary will be able to stop them, and our passing offense is bipolar.

dang, i hate to make it unanimous but i just dont see us beating ole miss. the sloppy offense and still struggle to get off the field on 3rd down. our o line struggled with mtsu's pass rush. they wont be able to handle ole miss d line.

I'm bringing a pint into the game and hope that my heckling makes the difference.

Our gameplan will be much better than today. I would think. I am hoping that Bama's coaching staff deliberately called some plays in which tested our QB.

But the weapons of Treadwell, Core, Engram, Adeboyejo will be a mismatch.

Going to need much better o line play and clearly better qb play.

Not too confident in this game

i just wish they'd put a couple of these super fast young pass rushers in and let'em eat. i'm tired of nit rushing the qb except on the exact same plays we rush every year. teams in conference know exact when where how and who we rush with, every time. as we know we seldom get there. but others dont have much problem getting to our qb. weird how that works.

Agreed, things are setting up to look bad for this game. We have the talent to compete and win of course. We can beat everyone on our schedule if we play our A+ game.

However Coker does not handle pressure at all. If our running game cannot move the ball and the fate of the game is in his hands against their D, that should not fill anyone with confidence.

How do you think we match up favorably against them? Just wondering.

I'm thinking we win with no problem. It's at home, and Saban still has the memory of Ole Piss running through their campus from last season. It may be close the first half, but their days of scoring 70 points end this weekend.

"WAOM"

they get to beat us like once a decade, their wad is blown.... they're still Ole Miss.

So we're supposed to be confident because of the names on our jerseys and the names on their jerseys. Got it.

Only Bama fans can be calm after beating a B1G team by 18 on a neutral field, but melt after beating a conference USA team by 27 at home.

It's like clockwork around here. We have one "bad" game and we're ready to give up on the season before we even begin SEC play. Now I know we have problems with offense and kicking (God our kicking game) but it's a night game at Bryant-Denny. All eyes will be on us and this team knows it. If you think the Alabama team that showed up today will be the same one that will show up next week, well you just don't have that much faith then.
