That's awesome. So I assume you've seen the new project for I-10 in Mobile.

City taking steps to improve west Tuscaloosa

Would be nice to see some development there. Being such a low income area, it's been hard finding commercial and residential growth in that area.

I know this is more of a food/bar thread, but I have my own dilemma. I've been in Marion/Perry County for a week and there is no barber shop here, nor in Centreville. I see there are several in T-Town and was wondering what place you baws prefer?

It's everything pertaining to T-Town.

Also, does it have to be a barber shop? I've never been to one. I usually get my haircut at Katelynn's Korner in Northport. If you want a specific barber shop, google says there's one called "Northport's Barber Shop" in downtown Northport.

Not at all. I prefer barber shops but it can be any place that doesn't have "clips" in their name.

Appreciate the recommendation GB.

There is a new sushi spot going in on University Blvd in one of the retail spots at the bottom of the new condos that were built across from Hooligans

I can't pronounce it, but it's supposed to be pretty good. Good sushi is really hard to beat.

Site work has begun on a new hotel planned for north Tuscaloosa.

Hotel planned to be complete in spring 2018. T-Town continues to improve in the hotel scene.

Hoping the next hotel coming to T-Town is the Graduate Hotel. Ole Miss, Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan, and others now have one.

Had no idea, but apparently Def Leppard and Poison are coming to the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater. As is Dave Mathews again.

Also, Band of Brothers Brewery is releasing a small batch called "Raspberry Monk" this Wednesday. I highly recommend going there sometime during the week. They always have a good show going on, some great food, and some good beer as always.
