What has been reported by people who have actually watched scrimmages doesn't agree with what you have posted. He has in fact had those troubles.

Anyways we will all see the truth in two weeks.

Alabama was back on the practice field Tuesday afternoon following a two day hiatus and its final of two fall scrimmages. The Crimson Tide practiced outdoors and in shells on a cloudy, 90-degree afternoon.

Here are several tidbits from the media viewing portion of Alabama's Tuesday practice session in Tuscaloosa:

- Players that were held out of Saturday’s scrimmage -- Dalvin Tomlinson (ankle), Cam Sims (knee) and Keith Holcombe (ankle) -- were all back on the practice field. Tomlinson returned to practice after a week on a stationary bike in a walking boot. Holcombe participated in individual drills but he stood off to the side during nickel drills. Sims also appeared limited.

- Senior tight end O.J. Howard, who also appeared limited ahead of Saturday’s scrimmage, was back on the field and was doing, at least, a little bit more than he did three days ago inside Bryant-Denny Stadium.

- The only players wearing black, no-contact jersey were Ronnie Clark, Richie Petitbon and Nigel Knott.

- The quarterback line was unchanged Tuesday with Cooper Bateman leading the group after the second and final scrimmage, followed by Blake Barnett and Jalen Hurts. When the signal callers broke up into two lines, Bateman and David Cornwell (foot) led one, with Barnett and Hurts lined up behind them, respectively, as they threw to wide receivers.

- What appeared to be the first-team offensive line remained the same, too, with, from left to right, Cam Robinson, Lester Cotton, Ross Pierschbacher, Bradley Bozeman and Jonah Williams leading the position group.

- The nickel defense appeared to be the same with Marlon Humphrey and Anthony Averett at corner, Eddie Jackson and Ronnie Harrison at safety, Minkah Fitzpatrick at Star and Reuben Foster and Rashaan Evans at linebacker.

- Defensive line coach Karl Dunbar spent some extra reps coaching up freshman Raekwon Davis. The 6-foot-7 freshman and the rest of the defensive linemen working on shedding blocks and holding up blockers.

- Scouts from the New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Rams watched Tuesday’s practice from the sideline.

*** What’s next: Alabama will return to the practice field Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. CT.

By that logic Cornwell is the backup.

Where in the groupings is Terrell Hall?

Heard so much good stuff about him, but AL.com didn't have him lined up with the first five OLBs in their report today. No mention of him in BOLs report.

Well, we are getting closer to game day. The person they plan on being the starter should be getting the reps with the 1st string. It is kind of logical dont you think?

I wasn't knocking your logic with the logic comment, I'm just saying the order they use when the media is watching isn't indicative of much if Cornwell is still getting reps over Hurts and even Barnett considering how Cornwell has been behind.

We've got no idea who is getting the real reps once the media gets kicked out. I wouldn't read much either way into what Saban lets the media see.

But now think about this.

Tim Williams and Ryan Anderson on the edges, with Jon Allen and Da'Shawn Hand inside.

How do you even score on that defense? We always stop the run, but the pass rush/defense capabilities of those 11 is incredible.

If we don't catch the injury bug(knock on wood), that defense is gonna be stout.
