Thanks for all the updates. Been out of the loop a lot of the weekend. Great job by Trey and outstanding performance by Spieth.

No problem. I didn't get to watch much of it, except for today. Sucks the weather didn't play out well for the guys when it first started.

Other news, our women's golf team started the second half of their schedule today in Columbus, Oh. Didn't do too well today (actually shot 12 over) and are in 8th place. Lauren Stephenson was our best player, just shooting 1 over par. Sure as the season goes along, our top 30 golfers (Cheyenne Knight, Lakareber Abe, Kristen Gillman , and Stephenson) will improve before the tournament.

Tom Lovelady also got his first top 10 finish at Club Colombia Championship (Web.com Tour).

Crazy the amount of talent that was at Bama during our back-to-back title runs.

Women's team is doing much better today than yesterday. Shooting 4 under today, and moved up 2 spots. Cammie Gray is killing us with 2 triple bogies. Lauren Stepenson is killing it though with 5 birdies, and only 1 bogie.

Justin Thomas will play in the Genesis Open. As will Bud Cauley, Trey Mullinax, and T-town native, Patton Kizzire. Watson won it last year by one stroke over Adam Scott and Jason Kokrak.

Women's team ended up being 5th. Not a bad finish as they shot 3 over par, but shooting 15 over for the tournament isn't going to cut it. Good news is Lauren Stephenson shot 3 under. Team should improve as the season rolls on.

Would be nice to actually watch some college golf.

I'm thrilled that Spieth won and obviously I love Pebble Beach....but goddamn a hate the at&t. I can't get into it to save my damn life. I absolutely can't wait for Thursday. Easily in my top 5 favorite tournaments each year.

Yeah, I was happy to see Spieth win it. His putting was off lately.

Definitely ready for tomorrow. 5 experts on PGA picked Dustin Johnson to win the Genesis Open, but the field is very competitive. Can't wait.

Thomas -1 under for the day so far.

Arnold Palmer's grand son, Sam Saunders, is leading the way

Kind of a meh day for the Bama guys yesterday. I think both Bud and JT have to finish their first rounds today (darkness). Hopefully they'll have strong second rounds and at least work their way into the top 30 or so heading to the weekend.

Thomas is one under today so far. He really screwed himself on that double bogey yesterday.

Bud Cauley is two under. Had a good putt on the 10th hole.

DJ is killing it. Very well judged putts

DUstin Johnson wins the Genesis Open. Thomas finished 3 under.

Poor old Mickelson. Had two eagles and had a good short game, only to be overshadowed by 3 bogies on the front 9.

Men's golf team is tied for 11th, 8 over par at the Puerto Rico Classic. One of our main players, Davis Riley, had to withdraw due to injury. Josh Sedeno is killing us, shooting an 81 (9+). Lee HOdges and Steven Setterstrom are the only guys that shot under 72.

If we can get the same performances out of Setterstrom all year, we'll be in good shape. Davis Riley is a guy that will usually hit well and can be a top golfer.
