Watched bits and pieces of the final round last night. Great win for this guy. #2 for the season and #3 for career. He's going to do BIG things in the future.

Justin is a hell of a golfer. I look forward to watching him play for the next few decades.

Great job by him. Third win, but this was by far the best field of the three events. All the big names were there, which wasn't really the case for his other two wins.

His potential is off the charts, top 10 in the world good, maybe top five. Hopefully this is the year the consistency and the ability to finish strong in tournaments comes along.

Seems like a good guy. Followed him around Augusta one day, got a Roll Tide out of him on the second tee. Hope he continues to move up the world golf rankings. But after 3 wins, he's set for life!

He'll be playing at the Sony Open in Hawaii today through the 17th I believe. Three experts on PGATour picked Spieth to win it.

Really could be a breakout year for him as he gets more and more comfortable.

NoLayingUp's tweets and videos about him during the week (and his responses) are fantastic.

He's a ton of fun. Great guy to have representing us.

He's -8 through 12 holes in opening round of the Sony Open. Par is 70. Could he shoot 59?

-9 through 13

ETA: And #9 (his 18th for the day) is a 506 yard par 5. Easily reachable for him.

I missed it unfortunately because of classes, but man oh man does he look confident. Youngest player ever to shoot a 59. Also 7th player in PGA Tour to break 60.

Followed up with a 64 today to set the ALL-TIME PGA record for lowest score through 36 holes at 123. Leads tournament by five shots heading to the weekend.

Go Justin. As hot as he is right now, I wish the Masters were next week.

Fixing to close another out. If he birdies 18, he'll set the record for lowest winning score in Tour history.

His odds to win the Masters jumped from 40-1 odds to 25-1. He's getting better and better, but I think the bar is being set too high for him right now. We usually don't see players start out hot and winning it anyways.

yeah, as they pointed out on the telecast. Putting on Hawaii greens are different than putting at Augusta and the US Open. But right now, he's striking the ball so crisp. Just once I'd like to play a round of golf where I know that I can make a golf ball do just about anything I want it to!

He still needs a little more discretion in his game to be a consistent threat in major tournaments. There were a couple of times I was watching this weekend where his caddy would suggest the logical play, and JT would say, "I think I can get it to the front of the green" and his caddy would just sort of shrug his shoulders and go palms up. It didn't matter this weekend because of the margin, but some of the shots he tries to hit at times are definitely ill-advised.

he doesn't have the short game for augusta ... doesn't have the iron control, either ... bombing it and hitting wedges into 500 yd par fives isn't the game at augusta ... those greens are small, narrow and maniacal, the exact opposite of the ones in hawaii ...
