battle has some pretty good coaches in place. Avery was his choice. I have confidence in him. He is Bama through and through.

Battle has already admitted that he wanted to keep Grant.

he pulled the trigger and made it happen. Either way Battle is a class act and people do not give him the credit he probably deserves.

Battle wanted Grant to stay. I'm sure Battle is a class act, but I bet he keeps Gaspard.

I fully expect it, if we limp into another postseason. The argument will be made that Gaspard needs a full recruiting cycle with the new facilities.

After this season we'll know if the administration is serious about taking our entire athletic program forward...it's just that simple.

this is a fact that Baseball is a non revenue sport. I dont think he will be jumping the gun to fire someone unless he thoroughly embarrasses the program like AU has done lately in BB

I'm not even a huge baseball fan but I've been keeping up with it over the last few years. We need a new coach. This is Anthony Grant all over again. The goal, whether u acknowledge it or not, every year is to win a championship. Gaspard will not get us to that point.

And Alabama is more than capable of winning a championship in baseball. Barry Schollenberger and Jim Wells did it over a 30 year period. Several SEC regular season tourney championships, along with playing for the national title in 1983 and 1997.

Can't wait for tonight
Nothing like playing Auburn. Hope the New Joe is packed out. We have a chance( with a series win this weekend) to win series against LSU, Tenn, and AU in one season. I would think it has been a long time since that has happened. Nothing like beating all your rivals
