pulling for all SEC schools here.
There is something about this Bama team that I cant put my finger on it, but it would not surprise me with our pitching that we go 2 and out. Yes I am being Debbie Downer as our #1 pitcher relies on a rise ball that is usually out of the strike zone when someone swings. Patient hitters will not swing at those. Also she averages close to a walk an inning. OU will pounce on that. Our batters, especially the big boppers, have been surprisingly AWOL, especially in the super regional.

I agree with that. One of our golf coaches is highly respected as well.

Osario had a no hitter going into the bottom of the seventh and like 12 strikeouts against OU in the first meeting this year. She gave up a single and a walkoff home run and Bama lost 2-0. The bad news is Bama could not hit against the OU pitcher.

Yep, Jay Seawall. He came to the men's golf program when no one else would and the facilities were terrible.

With Patterson retired, I agree 100%.
Man.... to think, for a one weekend a few years ago, we all loathed his guts.
Oh well, Murphy taught me you can un-hate someone pretty fast in 2012.

Bama didn't look good against their pitcher last night, two 3 up 3 down at bats. I'm just hoping for one win in the WCWS. I think 06 was the last time they went 0-2.

Well that walk off sucked. Murphy should consult Clint Myers on how to teach girls to hit the ball and score some runs.
