That is how you game plan with a freshman qb.

I realize we lost but I can not complain about our offensive play calling. We ran the ball. We even ran on third down. We were constantly in third and short situations last night instead of 3rd and 15.

maybe if we had done that all year jalen would have actually progressed and gotten better

We didn't run anymore last night than normal.

Kiffin was 14-0 with a freshman QB.

The playcalling last night wasn't terrible, but the decision to run tempo, especially in the 2nd half, was idiotic. When you're struggling to produce first downs and your defense is getting tired, the last thing you want to do is take just 30 seconds or so off the clock before you hand the ball back to Watson.

No we didn't but it wasn't that cute dipstick doodle BS Kiffin does We let Bo do what Bo does best. The difference is if we can't be balance with the pass game teams will load the box and stuff the run understanding that yes they may give up a couple long ones if our backs get into the secondary but you'll force more plays and 3 and outs against our offense.

All "that cute doodle dipstick BS" forces teams to cover the whole field by getting our guys on the perimeter. Sark had nothing to unclog the box. Honestly Kiffin probably would've.

The shitty offense wasn't Kiffin's fault before, and it's not Sarkisian's fault now. The quarterback's best play is roll out right and throw the ball away.

Baloney. We threw the bubble screen a few times, and usually badly.

A huge difference in the game last night were screens. Would love to see the yardage difference them vs. us on screen plays. They KNEW every time we were going to run one.

The gameplan was solid, the execution was not. There were open receivers throughout the game, they just couldn't get the ball to them. Drop passes by receivers, the wrong player catching a screen pass, QB not running it when he should have.

Game plan was fine until bo got hurt. Should have slowed down at that point to shorten the game. You only tire out your own defense doing hurry up if you are not getting 1st downs. You can start hurrying again if you get some success going in a drive.

We have 2 other great RBs. Keep with the same plan if it was working.

why did we constantly run sweeps to the short side of the field?

I'm baffled to see someone complimenting this play calling. Bama wins that game with Kiffin.

We had 8ish 3 and out drives. We left our d on the field for 99 plays. The offense did not play well at all.

I doubt the offense even scores 31 with Kiffin. Are people forgetting how bad the offense played in the Peach Bowl under Kiffin?

Sure, Bama would have taken a couple more shots down the field with Kiffin and all would have been incomplete.

Passes were there too be made last night, the players just didn't make them.

No. The two long passes were too long. Too many behind the receiver. Too many in the dirt. Too many to the sidelines. There were a couple of good passes and Stewart threw one of them.

Well, there was one pass in Stewart's hands that he missed.

I'm not saying it was perfect but just comparing it to the Washington game it was incredible
