Bruce Feldman today said that he asked some of our coaches, specifically Mario Cristobol, for some young guys that stood out to him this year.

The first name that got mentioned by Cristobol was Anfernee Jennings. CMC says he's going to be a beast in a year or 2, raved about him being unblockable & also said that he's gotten a lot of comparisons around the building to Dont'a Hightower. Sounded intriguing to me so thought I'd share.

He also said that our coaches raved about both Bo & Damien Harris. I'm linking to the segment below but he mentioned that our coaches said last week that Harris was shiftier & gets north & south as good as anybody we've had.

Anyway here's the link. Conversation starts around the 8 minute mark.

Saw this on BOL thought it was interesting so I decided to post it here. Shoutout to "RBRCPA" who posted this there. I wasn't sure if you had to pay to see this so I just copy and pasted just in case.

me being a critic and all but I saw harris play this year nd was not pumped and the fact that DH got so many carries when 17 was out tells me a lot. I hope I am wrong though.

To be fair DH didn't get a ton of touches his Freshman year either so it was hard to tell what he was going to be as a Junior and Heisman trophy winner. He will get his opportunity to shine or fail.

I think Harris may be used more like Drake since he lighter and quicker....

I'm a fan of both Bo and Harris. I don't think the criticism of Harris (a true freshman) has been fair.

Imo, I don't think Harris possesses Drake's skill set, I think his skill set more resembles Mark Ingram's (at this point of his career, in no way I a saying he is an Ingram talent, only similar styles and body types.)

I think Bo and Harris will be fine but with Emmons having grade trouble we really need to sign another stud RB in this class.

Good to hear about Jennings, we really need some DE depth heading into 2016.

Harris ran the ball ear the end of the game -- running out the clock when the whole world knows you're running the ball isn't much of a test.

A lot about who, Bo Scarbrough? The guy who missed the first four games due to suspension and was also coming off of an ACL injury and therefore relinquished any practice snaps he would've gotten during the first half of the season to guys that were eligible to play? Are you wondering why he didn't get carries after Kenyan Drake got hurt? I would assume it's because Damien Harris had put in enough time, practice and work to earn that 2nd string spot at that point in the season.

Agreed. I've seen a lot of negative opinions on him based on nothing. From what I've seen, he clearly has talent.

i think if you take the total number of d harris carries then count up how many times hes was hit behind the los. his play wasnt bad at all for a true frosh on limited carries
