Lurker's Rant RE: Official Threads

Wanted to see if I'm the only one with this opinion, but is it really necessary to only have ONE game thread for an entire basketball season? Are we planning on doing the same thing with baseball? Would it be that inconvenient for the board to have one thread per game? Only reason I ask is because it's annoying to navigate through 800 pages on mobile and seems kinda stupid. /RANT

Hey Tom. Anyone is welcome to start a dedicated thread for each game. The season thread is there for people who want to discuss topics related to the team, and in-game info part of that, but it's not exclusive.
So feel free to make a thread for the next game.
(Same for baseball.)

Yep I made some game threads earlier this season. They are just sort of pain to update if you are not in the mood and it is even worse when you are also trying to stream the game on your computer.

I'll join into some threads for away games if someone does it.
Also, I think it would be best for the person to just update the title at halftime and after the game. No reason for them to miss out on the majority of the game and having to avoid giving their input on the game because they have to update the thread title every score.
