and there's usually a couple threads started that have zero info in the title of the thread and the OP. LINK and threads with zero new information made for the sole purpose of trolling/flaming LINK

2nd ETA: I think there is a difference between good-natured ribbing and all out flaming. Unfortunately there are some posters on tSECrb who can't tell the difference.

I do think the word Gump in it's use is discrimination against Bama fans and you all can laugh it off all you want but it's true. Just pay attention to how it's being used and frankly I'm surprised that chicken has let it go on this long.

Some of y'all have thin skin. Personally, I relish the term. As I said in a thread that CrimsonChin (I think) started a few weeks ago, Forrest Gump, although fictional, accomplished more than any other human being on the planet. Sure, he was an idiot savant, so the frick what? Embrace it. Letting it bother you only further serves the purpose of using it as an epithet.

I don't have a problem with it, only because at this point if someone is still going to call me Gump, it's because they're not creative enough to call me anything else.
