I'm sure Saban didn't want to run up the score and score a 80 yard TD with a minute to go in the game but it sure was funny to watch the reaction. I just watched it back on my DVR and Cochran is walking right behind Saban after the TD and the closeup clearly shows him saying "frick" and Saban looks like we just jumped offsides instead of scoring a TD.
Good stuff.
Can't really fault a player who gets in the game, reads the blocks, makes a nice cut, sees daylight and runs for days.

I don't think anyone can blame an 18 year old kid for wanting to bust off a long run.
Coach Saban was probably saying "frick.I shouldn't have given it to Derrick".

Saban kind of had the same reaction in the CapOne Bowl when Lacy busted that one in garbage time against the Spartans.

Don't blame Henry....anyone of us in the same situation smelling the endzone would have done the same. Think Saban was bothered more that Arkansas couldn't tackle than he was Henry scoring

This. Saban was actually screaming at everyone around him when lacy scored and the announcers pointed it out.

If it bothers him so much we need to just take a knee in that situation. I have a difficult time blaming Henry for trying to score. It's actually pretty funny that Arkansas doesn't have anyone on their defense fast enough to chase down a 250 pound RB. He was pulling away from them down the sideline.

It happened this year vs Arkansas just like last year vs Arkansas...except last year it was Sims who took it to the house.

Exactly. I've never understand why you run a play if all you want to do is kill clock and it doesn't matter if you gain yards. If we didn't want a successful play, take a knee.

Watching that play. Henry just out ran their corner and the safety. Was this a case of bad angles and a tired defense or is he really that fast?

It was awesome to see. I think Bielema understands it wasn't personal. There's a difference between throwing passes at the end and just having an open running lane

I'm going to venture a guess that the all-time leading High School Rusher has a little speed.Probably not sprinter speed but I'll bet he's deceptive because of his size.
