The one you ask to come back through the back door after everybody else has left.
We both learned a lot from the experience and both got what we needed out of it.
I just keep thinking it's only a matter of time before some of his cutsie BS is going to bite us in the arse. I appreciate what he's done for us but I'm ready for something else.
Is it just me?

My perspective is he uses "cushion time" to its fullest. If we play Kentucky lets pass more than we should. It helps Jalen see the opportunity he misses to motivate him to get better. We've been behind 21 this year to come back and win. The offense can move the ball if it has too, but we are playing for January despite what Saban says.

Alabama Records set under Kiffin:
Blake Sims has the most passing yards (3,487) and second most passing TDs (28) in a single season.
Jake Coker has the second most passing yards (3,110) and third most TDs (21) in a single season.
Amari Cooper has the most receptions in a season (124, also an SEC record), yards in a season (1,727), and TDs in a season (16). School record 224 yards in a game, which he did twice.
Calvin Ridley had the fourth most receiving yards in a season as a true freshman (1,045)
Derrick Henry became the first SEC running back to rush for over 2,000 yards in a season (2,219), and set a single season school record with 28 TDs. Oh, and he won a little trophy called the Heisman.
He helped Alabama win two straight SEC Championships and a National Championship.
GTFO with that "ready for something else" crap.

Lane has been excellent for us. No doubt.
However, he gets a little too pass happy at times.

Yes, it's just you. God, I hope it's just you.
Bama's offense is better than it's EVER been. Holy hell, what do you want?

Bro if Hurts is accurate on just half of the big plays he missed then we score 50+ and this thread is never born.

I was annoyed by some of the calls last night, but I'll chalk it up to trying to work on deficiencies in game action. We were going to win last night regardless. I think he will have a winning plan ready for this tough stretch.

I agree and I think many need to be reminded what CNS said.coming out of the press conference naming jalen the starter.
" There no question jalen has great talent & potential.
I just want to remind people we all are gonna have to accept, everything that comes with developing a freshmen QB.
During the game Tom lug's said what Ive told a lot of my fellow tide fans. When it comes to high school QB's.
There so use to waiting until there targets are all the way wide open before they unleash it.
In college that is not going to always be the case.
Hence how much he's late on so many throws.
No excuse: But this kids has the number one ranked team, national championship contenders & Season in his hands.
You don't think he not thinking don't turn it over sometimes.Yet the way he has handle the pressure is
unbelievable.
CNS is trying to get him to understand when the shot is there take it.We have the defense to not worry about turn-overs every possession...JMHO

I think certain games are for in game reps. This was one of those. He wants to get Hurts those reps and during a game is the best time.

Let me ask you this: If you're Arkansas, what type of Alabama offense do you prepare for?
Posted on 10/2/16 at 8:27 am to justausedcarguy
We toy with teams to work on wrinkles and we lead the SEC in PPG. Good problem to have.

I can't believe some Alabama fans actually think that Kiffin designed an offensive gameplan specifically targeting UK's weaknesses. Yesterday was the equivalent of A-Day. Only this time the other team wore blue.

Kiffin is one of the best OC in the country and will be missed when he leaves. His play calling can be questionable sometimes and play calling did kinda cost Bama the Ohio St game two years ago.

Hell yes it's just you. The best OC we've ever had...and you're ready for something else.

I can't even believe someone made this thread.
Where is that Saban septic tank quote even you need it?

I'm encouraged by the OL. When we decided to go to the straight power run game - no jet sweep action, no frillery - they blew people off the line of scrimmage. That was good to see. We've seen it in spots.
So it was obvious LK was just using Kentucky as a glorified scrimmage to get Hurts some reps.
